I didn't expect the defense to play as well as it did, and I sure didn't expect the secondary to look as good as it did.

Yes, the Cardinals got some bounces, but holy moly, no team got screwed over from bad officiating like the Cardinals did on Tony Jefferson's interception, that was an interception, and in my book will stay that way. If I didn't have to watch the Victor Cruz fumble that wasn't then the call on Jefferson was the worst I have every seen in any sport, at any time.

I did not expect Carson Palmer and the Cardinals to drive 91 yards to win the game.....I actually never expect that to happen.

I finally saw why John Brown was so highly regarded, wow, those some moves.

I didn't expect Larry Foote to play so well.

Carson Palmer is what he is, but you cannot blame the offensive line for some of his issue. I mean, ........ I don't know what to say other than, Is that what an offensive line is supposed to look like.

Palmer had a few plays where he could have read a book back there. Been a LOOOOOONG time since that kind of protection has been provided in AZ.

To each his own, but I thought that was a big victory for the Cardinals last night against a team that was in the playoffs last year. It was not pretty, but I don't care, this team is not made for pretty. Its made to win.

Out TE's are going to get Palmer killed if they have to block a team's #1 pass rusher unassisted. The play calling, and not getting them help, confused the hell out of me. Pretty much every time we went into an empty set, Palmer was running for his life!

I thought Palmer played really well...but our D holding the Chargers offense to 17 points is no joke.

I just wish Palmer would play in the beginning of the game like he did in the 4th quarter. He was poised, accurate, and a top QB in the 4th. He made little mistakes, hardly any bad throws. It was great to see. Just wish it was like that through the whole game.

Opposing TE killed us again, but the D played well! I am a Foote fan! Dude is a beast and played similar if not better then Dansby did in his season opener(Foote - 8 tackles - 1 pass block/ Dansby 5 Tackles - 1 INT). I know Minter was to replace Dansby, but I still consider Foote really taking his spot/leadership. Powers got burned a couple of times, but he was not horrible out there. Jefferson's had the INT, no question. There was not penalty there. Horrible call!

I just think the offense is still not 100% synced and they really need to work on it. They got lucky that SD dropped a few easy catches that could have changed the game. I am so glad we got the win, even if it was just by one point. I am going to have a much better week now that the did. :D

Wow. The call was ticky tacky, but was the correct call. It sucks that they decided to call that play of all plays, but it was the correct call. They probably should have called it 10 other times and didn't. The NFL preached all offseason that the contact after 5 yards was going to become a point of emphasis.

That play was no where near as egregious as the Cruz fumble. It is very rare that the head of officiating will come out after the game and say that the refs screwed up. That's what happened there.

While technically they gave up 17 pts, the FG was a 3 and out off a turnover and one of the TDs was only 29 yds off of a turnover. If you take pts off turnovers away the D gave up 7 points.

Palmer was exceptional in evading sacks. That is no his forte but it was last night.

I never expected the Charger receiver to drop the tipped pass on 4th down.
That never happens to us. The guy usually makes a miracle catch and they kick a FG to beat us.

I had to check twice to make sure I was watching a Cardinals game.

If SD kicked a winning FG on their last drive, I would have been extremely critical of BA. You NEVER go for 2 until you absolutely, positively have to. Plus it gives the opponent momentum when the stop you. Why the hell did he go for 2 after we scored with almost 13 minutes left in the game??? That then forced us to go for another 2 after our last TD. Had he just kicked the PAT's each time, we have a 20-17 lead & a FG can't beat you.
