and draft Markelle Fultz,

what would we realistically target to get for Eric Bledsoe?

I'd assume a draft pick as high as possible but what position would we target?

There is probably no small forward or center in the range of picks Bledsoe might be able to net us this year, lets say #7-12. Markkanen might be the most attractive option assuming Tatum, Jackson and Isaac would not be available somehow. We could try to use the earlier Miami pick to package with whatever we get for Bledsoe to maybe jump another couple spots. I guess that would be the best option to trade basically Bledsoe, Knight and the earlier Miami pick for Tatum or Isaac.

Len or Chandler/Williams/???
Chriss/Bender/Dudley
Warren/???/Jones Jr
Booker/???/Barbosa
Fultz/Ulis/Price

Package Bledsoe for an established NBA big man. The draft is too much of a crap shoot.

or trade down and get one of the two small forwards and add a pick for next year and keep Bledsoe.

I tend to agree with JC. Not only is the draft a crap shoot, but I also think we have enough young talent. Between Bledsoe, some of the youngsters and Miami picks, we should have plenty to offer in a trade.

After reading chad ford's board from a couple weeks ago I'm nervous about getting number 1. He talked about some teams leaning fultz, others leaning ball, and named the suns as one leaning ball.

I'd rather have a jackson or tatum than even ball, so suns are putting me in a position where I'm rooting for 3 or 4 instead of 1? Or if we get 2, hope lakers get 1 so ball is off the board?

Fultz can play 1 or 2, same as dwyane wade coming out, he was actually Miamis PG year one with eddie Jones and Caron butler. I agree if you can package bledsoe to get back in issac range, I'm OK with it, but don't think you can.

In which case no need to force a bledsoe trade... yet. Fultz would basically take barbosa's spot in the rotation for a while, then at some point you can see if a bledsoe, fultz, booker pg,sg,sf combo could work together and move tj to the second unit but still get him around 30 mins.

Put me down for Jackson too. Like others said...We don't have to worry about trading Bledsoe then.

I really like Bledsoe's game...This year was a turning point for him. But if we draft a PG then we have to consider a trade. It's hard to zero in what we want for him though because would we package him or deal him solo? A top tier center would be on my radar.

I like Ulis and Bledsoe at PG. Let's be realistic Ball and Fultz are good but neither is a Lebron or Tim Duncan type franchise changing player a lot of really good players though.

I really like the way this team is looking at PG, SG, SF and PF. Chriss and Booker look like flat out blue chip players.

TJ Warren might never be a star but he's definitely an above average NBAS player and should have a long productive career I'd love to see him in a 6th man role next year. Ulis is a really good player in his own right.

We still have no idea what we have in Bender

PG Bledsoe
SG Booker
SF Jackson/Isaac/Tatum
PF Chriss
C Chandler

Bench
Ulis
Warren
Bender

Man that's a lot of young talent right there.

I'm definitely looking at trade offers with the number 1 pick to see what it brings before making a decision. I like drafting a forward as well.

If we get the #1 I'm only trading down to the #4 slot at most. Don't want to trade out of ball, fultz, Jackson, or Tatum.

What would be ideal is to get #1, have sixers jump into top 3, knocking the lakers outta the top 3 and causing it to go to the sixers. Having the sixers fall in love with ball or fultz and be willing to trade their two top 4 selections to us for the #1 and maybe a Miami pick. Then we walk away with fultz/ball and Tatum/Jackson! And the lakers get NOTHING! Then we trade Bledsoe and the other Miami pick for a stud Big (Drummond?).

Ball/fultz, Ulis
Booker, ???
Jackson/Tatum, Warren
Chriss, Bender
Drummond, Len, Big Sauce

Niiiiiice

No way we trade down from one when we finally get that pick

Fultz is the most complete guard prospect to come out in forever.

Drummond sucks, bad defender, poor offensive player.

that goes completely against what Sarver told season ticket holders.

Id worry about Chad Ford if he ever had an inside track on the Suns.

As of now Chad Ford is the one editing his archived draft projections in hindsight to look better.

No he's not I personally don't even think he's better than Ball.

Sarver and mcd were at the ucla and asu game, this week when gambo asked mcd about lavar ball mcd wrote it off as non issue.... suns too comfortable with taking ball for my liking.

That is too bad for you.

Fultz is 18 years and has basically no holes in his game. He is a complete package and would have been the #1 pick in the past few drafts without question.

In the last 20 years since Duncan he probably only does not go #1 in the Lebron draft and the AD draft.

Maybe the Blake Griffin, Yao Ming And Greg Oden draft too but it would be close.

Oh. Except his team doesn't win and seems to play better without him. I really like Fultz as a prospect, but I really like Ball too. This is a concern to me about Fultz.

Interesting. Duncan, Brand, Ming, Howard, Rose, Griffin, Davis, Towns. I think those all would have gone ahead of him. I am not sure about Kyrie and Wall. Of course, its just speculation on my part.

Yeah I like Fultz but Slin is reaching there. He's not a top-5 prospect of this generation by any means.

I'm still taking him #1 though...

Kinda side tracked, but I think people forget how hyped Oden was. If we're going by what people are projecting and the hype of these guys then Oden certainly had a lot more clamor than Fultz, of the "one and done" era guys, he was the most hyped by a wide margin.

Bledsoe is an all-star level talent. I think a lot of posters on this board undervalue him. I would throw up if we traded him and all we received was a pick in the 7-12 range.

Towns was not as highly rated as we now think in hindsight. There was a decent amount of people who thought Okafor war the #1 pick even.

Rose also was not a better prospect.

Yes but the main reason Oden went over Durant was the highschool hype of being ranked #1 for a long time.

He wouldn't have that advantage over Fultz who was ranked #1 for a long time also and then the diminished value of old school centers in todays league, there is almost no way he would go ahead of Fultz if he was in the draft now.
