Depends on the player. It's a good gamble with AP and a bad gamble with Chris Wells.
And how is one to know except after the fact?. Wells didn't miss a game in College due to injury, if I recall correctly.

The quality of athlete they are. Adrien Peterson is an absolute freak of an athlete and that was no different when he was drafted. If Beanie Wells for instance was as good as an athlete as Peterson someone would have gambled on him in the top 10.And how is one to know except after the fact?. The best part about this is I don't have to see Bucky post in every single thread that Levi sucks.

Wells missed a lot on parts of games. Many on here called him soft right when he was picked. Skkorpion for one.No one is seriously comparing the two then or now and Wells was considered good value at the end of the first.
But he was also considered a gamble even in that spot. Just not as much of a gamble as it would have been for a team to take him in the top 15.No one is seriously comparing the two then or now and Wells was considered good value at the end of the first.

It is conditional draft picks from the sound of it we are looking at one pick in the 5-7 range.don't have time to read through 12 pages
is this a done deal,is there a player involved from pittsburgh?

You know I don't speak Spanish, but Skkorp also loved LOVED Brady Quinn.A Notre Dame fan, if I recall. Quel surprise!
So what, gamble on the top NFL RB in the past ten years. You are the CArdinals. Don't go safe and reach for Dopey Levi. And Peterson was considered a gamble in the top 5, by many, given his injury history.

He will. He will play out of his mind and become an all-pro. That's just how it works, because the football Gods hate us.
How many pro bowl OL come from teams with fewer than 6 wins?He will play average, but because he is a Steeler, he will make the Pro Bowl.

http://www.nfl.com/probowl/story/0ap1000000117432/article/2013-pro-bowl-rosters-afc-nfcKC had a pile from a 2 win team.
1. Jamarcus Russell - Raiders
2. Calvin Johnson - Lions
3. Joe Thomas - Browns
4. Gaines Adams - Bucs
5. Round Mound Brown - Cards
6. Laron Landry - Redskins
7. Adrian Peterson - Vikes
Am I reading that wrong? I don't see ANY OL from KC.5 is a pile to me.
But, if I remember correctly the "crystal ball" says that you don't select players with an injury history in College.
I agree. Like the trade, but we could have been more proactive with another LT. Also King Dunlap is playing well for San Diego. He was available preseason I believe.happy to see Levi's not in our future and never will be.
still really confused as to why it took this long to realize it and why guys like Braden Albert and now Monroe weren't gotten so that we don't know have to start a guy who was cut at the end of the training camp.
"I don't have much of a reaction," Roethlisberger said. "I obviously know the name. It's Pittsburgh West out there [in Arizona], so it makes sense. We'll just have to see what the plan is for him and the other guys that are here."
Whether Brown is the starter for that game, Roethlisberger said, will depend on how he approaches the next few days.
"We'll see," Roethlisberger said. "It depends on how much work he wants to put in. How much does he want to be here? Is he going to be here all weekend? Does he want to put the time and effort into be that guy? Who knows if he is that guy? Is it Beachum or Mike? We don't know. I guess it will be a matter if he can learn the offense when he gets here."
