Well, we don't need to worry about Fultz vs. Ball vs. Jackson anymore.
Well, we don't need to worry about Fultz vs. Ball vs. Jackson anymore.
This might be the most worthless argument ever on the board
Then you would call that bluff, imo. And be thankful that you ended up with Fultz if it were remotely true.
I think you say fine we love fultz too and don't give up assets for players of similar talent level at same position.
Oh no im in danger of actually liking Lavar Ball
Hes on the Herd right now and that co-host girl is just snapping at him left and right with little comments and jabs.
Shes doing that classic "you dont respect women" blanket statement thing.
Lavar said "I respect women but if you act like that youre gonna get whats coming to you"
She says "Oh so youre threatening me?"
Lavar "I would never threaten you, look at you trying to turn the words around"
She says "You just said Im gonna get whats coming to me"
Lavar "I aint psychic, I dont know what it is"
I almost died laughing. wait for the vid, its funnier in person
He came off looking like a terrible businessman once again. She brought up legitimate points about marketing to both men and women and had no legitimate response except for stupid bickering replies. It's his right to sound like an idiot all the time but I have a problem with him costing his son millions.

Theres no question he is a terrible businessman, thats not the point.
His response to her "you disrespect women comment" was hilarious. This is a sports show. Why is she bringing that up? That was unprofessional to me. shes the one who made it personal. Im glad he shut her down.
And thats fine. Why the outrage?
Tampax doesnt market to men.
BBB is an awful brand, but if its only meant for menswear, then OK. Theres 1000s of sex specific brands in the world.
Why? Bc he's a dude whose mouth operates before his brain. He's not an idiot but he acts like one.It wasn't disrespectful. Leahy wanted to know how much inventory he sold and his response was completely inappropriate and off-topic, "stay in your lane," which is the equivalent of telling a woman to "go back to the kitchen." Leahy's point, which is very valid, is that Ball doesn't market to women, who are the largest consumer of sports apparel. If Ball's target market is the teenage population, he's going to want to appeal to women, as it's the mothers who buy their sons shoes and apparel.
It's also funny because BBB actually sells women's apparel, as well. Why alienate a target market? That'd be like Under Armor selling golf apparel and its CEO saying that golfers are inferior athletes to football players.
Why? Bc he's a dude whose mouth operates before his brain. He's not an idiot but he acts like one.
I wasn't inferring you think he's an idiot. That was just my separate commentary on him. And agree with the hypocrisy.I never said LaVar was an idiot. In fact, I have said on this forum that he's a genius for causing all of the talking heads to focus on him; thus, generating free marketing. I find it hypocritical, however, that he tells the public that he's not focusing on marketing towards women when he has a line of women's apparel.
LeVar has 100% absolutely damaged the value of lonzo ball. He's just too arrogant to admit it.
HahI don't know how you can say that. A month ago he was willing to sell the brand to Nike and others for 1 billions dollars, now, he's demanding 3 billion. He's made 2 extra billion right there!
