Lost: Season 3 (Spoilers)

Tonight is the killing episode.

Eko, but that's the let-down death.
I don't want to read it...but I've known since the summer that episode 6 is supposed to flip everything upside down...

I think it sucked that I knew he died, I don't want to know anymore spoilers.
Anyways...SPOILERS below.
Very interesting stuff. The "thing" on the island I don't think is man-made, but who knows. Seems very supernatural. Do the others know about it?
This is how I see the Ecko story so far:
- He saw the cloud, with images of his past. To make him remember?
- He finds his brother, remembers what he did.
- Builds the church, because we find out tonight he owes him the church
- The island now demands he repent for his sins
- He refuses to do it.
- The island/cloud is upset at him defying it, and kills him.
So one thing I wonder. Locke has seen the cloud, but it was a white light I guess. Still, Locke felt called first seasonr by the Island to do something. They the island brought them.
So the island isn't done with him yet, most likely. What does it want Locke to do?
Anyways, Ben and Juliette.
I think Juliette is the evil one and lying. Not Ben. Just a hunch. Or maybe both are, and fighting for power.
Great episode. Next week will be awesome.

I thought that too. But if you were in Jack's shoes what would you do? You already know Benry has locked you and your friends up and gave the crash survivors no help. I'd kill him.
But I would make a deal with Juliette that she would have to sleep with me first. She is very hot to me for some reason.
I think the black cloud can take the form of people. Who else has seen dead people on the Island that seem to run away from them--just Jack (his dad) and Ecko (his brother)? Anyone else?
Because both of those dead bodies were also on the island--and subsequently went missing.
I don't have a fully-baked theory around this fact, yet...but I'm working on it. I think that's significant.

Reading Wikopedia about my new favorite hottie juliet.
"Sawyer pointedly contrasts Juliet with the other guards, saying that she would have had no problem shooting Kate while the others had little or no combat experience."
I remember this now and does point to her being more evil then Ben perhaps?
I must say I am much moe interested in the others than the rest of the survivors on the island.

Here are the cue cards. I got chills when she flashed the first one;
"Ignore everying I'm saying."
"Ben is a liar."
"And he is very dangerous."
"Some of us want a change."
"But it has to look like an accident."
"It has to look like we tried to save him."
"And that's up to you, Jack"
"It's a complicated surgery. No one would ever know."
"And I would protect you."
"Now tell me to turn off the movie."

"Ben is a liar."
"And he is very dangerous."
"Some of us want a change."

Also, with the teo "new" survivors...the ones that went with Locke, Sayid and Desmond--I hate them. I feel like my space is violated everytime they're on-screen. I think to myself, "who the hell are you?! GEt outta my Lost!"

And I agree about the new characters. But the girl is kinda hot.
You're right--but that guy was never actually alive. It was his imaginary friend.
I have no idea what's going on.
Also, to add another thing to think about when it comes to dead bodies and the black cloud...notice they didn't leave the dead other (the one Sun shot) on the island. They sent her off Viking style (no, not on a sex boat party...).
Hmm. Something that the Others maybe created and now may or may not have control over?
I said that to my wife last night, "She's the evil one, not Ben!" But my wife pointed out that Ben is evil as well.

If Kate hooks up with Sawyer (which is looking more and more like that will happen), then they'll leave poor Jack with the evil woman? I find it hard to believe they'll be that cruel to him. Think about it. NOTHING good has happened to Jack in the last 70 days. Nothing. His father appears and now his body is freaking missing, he is kidnapped, Boone dies under his care, that Other chick dies under his care, Michael betrays him and his friends, and his wife left him because she was cheating on him. The guy just can't win. Tack on falling for an evil Other woman, and he'll officially join Jack Bauer as the unluckiest characters on television--except that Jack Bauer can get electrocuted one episode, and the next drive around LA screaming, "There is no time!"
Yup, and as my emerging theory goes, they also acted in similar fashions when seen by their relatives--they were elusive in the jungle.

Agreed when they couldn't find Ecko's brothers body and then his brother said you talk to me like I'm your brother, I immediately thought the cloud took the body.

The thing with the body my first thought was I wonder if they're both doing a formal ceremony, and "feeding" their pet shark? THe one Sawyer et al saw when they were on the raft with the logo on it?
I don't think you need to cook shark-food. (they set her on a floating pyre and set it aflame)
