Very well could be Locke - but why would it be so important for the Others to save Locke?

I think they have plans for each of the survivors. Was it in the previews that someone said "They need you," or something like that?

I'm leaning towards 2 theories on who the x ray belongs to.
One was posted here, that it's Benry and since he's lived on the island his whole life, it doesn't "cure" him the way it has Locke, Rose and Sun.
The other is that it's the x ray of whoever is in charge of the others. Remember even Benry at one time was talking about a "he" that we all assumed was in charge. We've now since been led to believe Benry is that he, but with this show you never seem to know. So maybe there is a man in charge that we haven't seen yet, presumably because he needs surgery?

The commercial I saw last night during Help Me Help You said one of the main characters will die. At least I think that's what the wording was.
I'd like to see them resurrect Ana Lucia, and then kill her again.
You can never be sure until they're dead.
Carlton Cuse was pretty dodgy on the podcast. He wouldn't say whether they're going to kill an Other or one of the regular castways. Furthest he'd go was, "My guess is that people will be pretty satisfied that we are killing somebody significant."
They are going to kill Kate. This is a Kate Centric episode IIRC...they will wrap up her kind of crappy story and kill her for a HUGE shock. Plus, there have been no leaks about who's going to die, so that silence leads to thinking it is a very major character. We all knew Shannon was the one to die (on a Shannon-centric episode no less) because it was all over the Web...you had to be careful to avoid the spoiler on it.
And I will be completely sad. Kate's the hottest woman on TV and I'm going to be pissed at JJ when he kills her off tonight, but I'm about 90 percent sure that's what he's gonna do.

Isn't that the killing episode? Why would they kill someone off and then come back for one ep before hiatus?

I think he actually might. It's mind-blowing and something that wouldn't happen.
But then again, I always have expectations for this show to do something totally non-cliche like kill off a main, main character.
I concur...he's fairly drab on the show and hasn't even been seen very much. Plus, he's nearly dead already. Ho hum to kill Eko.
