Oh yeah...absolutely. You just know Ben will play that card too. "Well Jack, I am a man of my word. I will get you off of this island and take you back to yours." Evil Eyes Closeup.
I think he has more integrity than that. I don't think he's as evil as the show wants you to believe.

As opposed to influencing Jack by making a video telling him that he should kill Ben? I don't think so.

The other Others don't know about her video to Jack presumably. She has to keep up appearances.

From the way the Others were acting, I think only Juliet wants Ben dead..not the rest of them.

One other thing that bugs me. Ben's comment about 2 days after he finds out he has a tumor on his spine "a spinal surgeon drops out of the sky."

If Jack wasn't on Jacob's original list(whatever that is) is that why they waited so long to take Jack, because they didn't know who Jack was? If so, why wasn't Jack on the list, he was on the manifest Hurley had, remember when they figured out Ethan was an other?

So either there's some weird reason why Jack isn't on the list, or they just waited and took other people before bothering to go after him which makes no sense?

I think it is their list of "Good" people. Jack wasn't on that list.

I think it's the exact opposite actually. Sawyer and Kate were on Jacob's list. Perhaps others were as well. Perhaps Eko was on the list. He's done some terrible things. I think it was Ben who had them grab Jack.

Still though, my mind was not even close to being blown...it was hardly poked.

That's how I felt too. I guess I shouldn't have listened to all the hype. My mind has been blown plenty of times watching this show, but unfortunately this wasn't one of them. I expected Jack to do something during the surgery, so it wasn't very surprising. I still can't wait for the next 16 though.

What happened to Jin and Sun after the shooting? What happened to the sailboat? What is the meaning of the numbers? Are there other magnetic EMP things in the other hatches? What is the meaning of the Black Rock ship? how did the drug plane get all the way from Africa? Why was Liddy in the asylum? What happened to the tailie kids that were kidnapped? What is the monster thing? What is the dharma initiative really? Who sent in the supply drop of food? Where did Walt and Michael escape to? What exactly was the "special" power everyone saw in Walt and how did it relate to the island? Whats going on with the guys who were watching for the EMP? What is the serum that was shot into Clair's baby and why was it necessary?

I'm getting annoyed.

How many other questions can we think of? That was just what rolled off my head. I'm sure there are a ton I've forgotten.

I guess what I'm getting at is, look at the list above, and the "mind blowing episode" shows us that Kate married a cop at some point, and Jack had a piss poor plan to try and break Kate out of the cage. Ho hum. Yea. I'm going nuts here. Bleh.

Join the club! :)

BTW, I used to think that Kate was strong. Now I just think she's a scared little girl. Frankly, I am tired of hearing about her back story.

I think Sun is a way stronger woman than Kate is.

I am still waiting for the big cliff hanger to happen. Maybe my DVR did not record it.

Iggy Pop has a song that kind of fits my feelings with the Lost storyline as of late.

Oh, and nice little trick by ABC using Lost previews after every "Daybreak" episode to get viewers. No thanks ABC. I'll find the previews online.

This will be the first time I've used my DVR to fast forward thru a show so that I could watch the commercials! :)

Lost is getting pushed out one hour. It will now air at 9:00 PM in Arizona.

imdb.com said:
ABC Finds New Time Slot for 'Lost'

ABC is moving Lost out of the path of the American Idol juggernaut and will air it at 10:00 p.m. on Wednesdays when it returns on February 7. Lost had previously aired at 9:00 p.m., an hour that will now be devoted to two new comedy shows, The Knights of Prosperity and In Case of Emergency, which will premiere on January 3. The network has not decided what it will air in the 10:00 p.m. slot until Lost Returns. Day Break, the network's current fill-in for Lost, has generated dismal ratings.

Good time switch.

Now, I can only hope that Heroes and 24 aren't on at the same time... But it doesn't look good.

Lost gets switched to 10pm to not interfere with Idol (which I don't watch anyway, but I'd rather Lost was at 10 than 9).

I wrote "good switch" and simply brought up the fact that 24 and Heroes will probably be on at the same time on Mondays.

And no, I don't have a dvr/Tivo.

It's not rocket science...
No, it's not rocket science. But it's also not hard to see how your second thought might be viewed as connected to the first (i.e. a Lost conflict with the other shows).

Why must you always condescend?

What are you talking about? I didn't condescend anything. I explained myself, and now you start whining about it.

Dude, when you say "it's not rocket science," that's not just explaining yourself. It's commenting on a person's ability to understand what you're saying. Are you so far gone that you don't even realize when you're being an ass?

Since I don't want to hurt your delicate sensibilities I will delete the offending quote.
