The best news is really that next season will be 22 episodes in a row, like 24...

Yeah and like everyone else I'm glad that they too realize the show has to end sometime and they ought to start thinking about tying together loose ends instead of constantly introducing new subplots and new characters and forgetting about the older ones.

They have so many unanswered questions with Walt and his dad, "turniphead", and other things from the first couple of seasons that have been essentially completely buried, that it's good to hear they do realize that they need to plan an effective endgame and how to get there.

I use Alias as the example of now NOT to do it because it was the same guy in charge and he clearly took a very good show and messed it up dealing with all the same issues (stars doing movies, long hiatuses etc) that Lost has now. Hopefully he learned his lesson this time around.

Good call there...that's exactly what happened to that show.

i think it is funny in a way that this is just now becoming "news". the producers have said in interviews during season 1 that there was a definite arch to the story and that they planned on it only being 5-6 seasons long. all this current article is doing is again stating something that has been discussed for awhile now.

news that is not really news - gotta love it - lol

If next season is going to be the last season they better get a move on with the story archs. They also have stated that they want to make a couple feature films when the series is done.

How cruel would it be to leave the TV show on big cliff hanger just for the movie???!?!?!!?!?!? They better not.

Is it seriously going to be on at 10 here or 9? The lost.com countdown has it at 8...

Edit: I checked and made sure. Recap of last season from 8 to 9 and 9 to 10 is the first episode.

It will air at 9pm in Arizona. The news comes on at 10p. In most every other market, primetime is 8p-11p with the news starting at 11p. I wish Arizona was like that.

Denver has PT starting at 7:00, too.

So long as you have a DVR, it matters not. I can't remember the last time I sat down to watch a TV show when it was actually on.

I think it was in the days of black and white for me, at least it seems that way.

Also, for fun, try to think of the last non-HD thing you watched. ;)

5/10. I remembered Carrie. LAX made sense to me since they were coming from Sydney. I guessed Downtown because that was the song at the beginning of S3. I remembered 80%. I took a Dickens class in college which was enough to make the book title stick. The rest I had no clue about.

It fooled me on the Ecko stick with lift up your eyes and look east...when it was really lift up your eyes and look NORTH. Trick question.

Missed the one on ecko's stick (and was tricked). Missed the book for brutha. Missed the Kinks answer. Missed how many rows Boone and Shannon were from Jack.
