I missed all those except for the Kinks thing.
And, I knew after I answered that I messed up on the book thing.Dont forget that it is on at 9 PM. There is a recap at 8PM also.
By the way, if anyone cares, I've read some reviews on tomorrow night's episode and it's supposed to be just flat out awesome.

- Confirms more and more that these people can come and go as they please
Another thing that is interesting is right before Henry's heartbeat dropped and Jack had to fix him, he asked Tom a question about getting around off the island or something, and Tom says "yeah, but ever since the purple blast..." and then he was cut off.
What did that do?

Great to have the show back. What was also great was they didn't have a slow episode to "ease" us back in. Plenty of action
- We saw more evidence of how far the others were willing to go to get what they want (i.e HITTING SOMEONE WITH A BUS!!!)
- Ben has claimed the french woman's daughter as his own
- The scene of brainwashing/psychological torure was intriguing and I'm sure will lead to future events (ie they will use it again or that they guy they saved becomes a spy)
However what we don't know
- Why did they bring Juliette to the island? Who were the Others trying to impregnate?
- When Juliette said that Ben was going to let her go, was that what he actually said?
- What exactly did Alex's boyfriend do to deserve the psychological torture?

By the way, the guard who Kate threatened to shoot his knee off...Aldo, was there on a cameo from one of my favorite shows, Always Sunny in Philadelphia
I can't look at the guy that was offering Juliette the job and take him seriously. That's the actor that played "Bat-Manuel" in the live-action "Tick" series.

Could it be that time on the island moves much faster than the outside world?
That would explain that there basically has been no rescue teams searching in the area.
For instance - for every hour that passes in the real world, a day would pass on the island?

My girlfriend thinks that Karl is the child of Juliette's sister. She said she's only been on the island for 3 + years so that would mean Karl would have had to grow at an incredibly accelerated rate, but obviously it was an unusual pregnancy? That would explain why Juliette let Karl leave on the
boat?
Good show but honestly after all that time off I was expecting more bang for my buck? But it's great to have it back and the next few shows should be great.
