Because they are stuuupid. They have done that with the show since it came out. Hafd way to many gaps in between episodes. I would like to know whos bight idea it was to start doing TV shows that way.

I think the claim is logistically it's too hard to shoot the show in a normal schedule, things like weather, size of cast etc?

I do agree though the breaks are killing the show.

I still love the show but less than I do before the extended break.

According to The Honolulu Advertiser, two members of the Lost crew have died from heart attacks in the last week. The article did not disclose the identities of the deceased, but noted that one crew member died after collapsing on the set of the ABC drama, which films in Hawaii. The second crew member was driving home from work at the time of his or her heart attack. An unnamed ABC spokeswoman gave her condolences to the crew members' families. Our hearts go out to the friends, colleagues, and loved ones of the deceased as well.

If Des did then he did it unknowingly. You remember the confused look on his face while he was envisioning Claire's demise?

I think Des had a flash of Charlie drowning, didn't know about Claire drowing until after he dragged Charlie out into the jungle, then got the second flash of Claire drowing so had the puzzled look and had to go save her.

The tattoo lady said he was a great man, a leader, but would be lonely. That's what she saw in him.

The words he got tattooed on him said: "He walks among us, but is not one of us."

Which to me is another description of a leader among people...

I thought it was a great episode.

I did, too. I liked the whole marking idea and what it meant.

I still love this show. Still one of my top three on television.

Why did he get beat up though for the tattoo? And what about Juliet?

The chick said that there would be consequences since he was not one of them. I'm guessing the butt-kicking is what she meant. How those dudes found out though, I don't know.

I think the Juliet marking thing will come back into play at some point. It must mean something more than just a punishment. Or maybe it just means that she and Jack are marked and they have some sort of connection because of it.

I also liked the interaction between Kate and Sawyer, and how we probably really found out who Kate truly loves.

Also interesting was the other passengers from the plane...just going by his cage.

What the heck was THAT about?

Have they been brainwashed too?

And it should be VERY interesting if Jack is taken to where the Others really livel

So what were the 3 questions they answered last night?

I'm guessing one is that the others don't live on the island they're on now but on the main island. That Juliet is one of the others(per Ben). Not sure about a 3rd one but they started the show saying 3 big questions would be answered? Maybe that other people from the plane were alive?

I was completely baffled by the tattoo thing and why he got beaten up but I'm assuming they'll explain that eventually. Who was the lady who told Jack what the tattoo said, she looked very familiar have we seen her before or am I remembering her from somewhere else?

Good episode but I'm still waiting for more explanations. It's like a manager at work who always gives you praise and criticism at the same time, they can never give you an answer on this show without tossing out 3 more questions.

I think the three questions answered were:

What does Jack's tattoo mean? - He is a leader, but destined to never fit in anywhere.

What happened to the children/adults? -- At least we know they are alive. I'm assuming we will find out what happened in the mean time to them eventually.

Not sure on #3....

Remember - the three big questions deal is just ABC hype.

Couple more things from last night. I assume everyone got the reference when Sawyer starts singing "Show me the way to go home" on the boat?
That's what they were singing in Jaws at night when the shark attacks the boat and starts slamming into it. I was expecting to see the shark with the
Dharma symbol again but didn't.

Our receptionist here at work pointed this out, I think she's right? When the woman from the plane asked Jack about Ana Lucia, it made no sense, because she has no idea that Ana Lucia and Jack ever met up on the island? She knows they met on the plane presumably, but if she was kidnapped before the tailies ever met up with Jack, she has no idea they ever met up on the island? They're usually pretty good about that stuff so I'm assuming there's a hole in there that allows it to make sense but I haven't found it yet?

The Others have consistently kept tabs on the plane survivors, so I don't think it's a stretch that the Others might have found out that Ana Lucia and the others had met up with Jack and the others at some point.

Of course, if that is true, then it would seem to make sense that they would know that she is now dead, too...

Wasn't it the little girl who asked about Ana Lucia?

Ana Lucia saved her and her brother after the plane crash.

She probably wouldn't remember wether Jack was with them in the beginning or not, since they were kidnapped on one of the first nights??

I don't know... just a thought

She whispered it to the woman who asked Jack. But still my question is why would she expect Jack to know?

As Chaplin said, if they keep track of them they should know Ana Lucifer was dead already, if they don't, why would they expect Jack to know?

Wasn't she one of the people who was heading back to the other side of the island with Sawyer, Jin and Michael? I believe she was one of the last people taken as those three and the tailies made their way across the jungle. I am guessing that since Michael was working with the Others that all the others knew they made it back.

Yes - Libby almost made it back to the main camp with AL and Sawyer, etc.

That's right, she was the woman who disappeared as they were climbing that hill, moments before Ana Lucia shot Shannon.

on the run from johnny law... ain't no trip to cle
i thought the three answers were:

- jack's tattoo
- the others live on the main island and have real homes and backyard's and stuff
- they steal the kids to give them a better life

i thought it was interesting that when alex was talking to jack in the cage, she said "that was three questions, now you answer one" or something like that.
