I read an interview where one of the directors said Rose is a regular on another series so while that doesn't mean she'll never be back, she simply
isn't available now to be on Lost. Forget what the other show was.

So along the same lines of where's Ruth... Will Walt and Michael ever make a return?

the producers said in an interview last fall that Walt and Michael would make a reappearance next season I believe.

One other comment, in the flashbacks Boone says something in the airport and then Shannon says "quit flirting with random guys so we can get on the plane" or something similar. Was she just making fun of him or was she saying Boone was gay?

i think she was just being mean to him. i bet shannon calls and votes for sanjaya too, because that is the kind of person she is.

She was making a comment that any errrrrr sister would make to her brother if cutting them down. It was nothing more then that.

Out of all the characters that have come and gone, I wish they had kept S & B. To me there was so much untapped potential for mean spirited fun between the two. The others that have died? Eh.

In retrospect, killing of those 2 characters also take the wind out of the sails in terms of their true relationship. That revelation just didn't seem to mean much after their deaths.

Not to mention Shannon is HOT!!!!

I agree on that last comment wholeheartedly...

There was Lost yesterday. My TIVO didn't tape it.

That sucks it was the episode where they explain everything from the first 2 1/2 seasons, almost like finding the Rosetta Stone.

I just remembered how friggen annoying Shannon was. I'd much rather have Nikki back than the blonde.

My guess is they reshot it, but there was probably a lot of blue/green screen work, especially when they did the plane crash stuff.

This episode was like the first season, where almost every single character in the show was on screen at some point.

I just caught up on the last 2 episodes. Awesome stuff. I was wondering how they did that. I was assuming that they planned ahead and already had the scenes shot. I can't believe that he knew about the hatch the entire time! I specifically remember the original scene where he comes out of the bathroom and everyone looks at him sort of suspiciously.

It was OK. My take is that the writers knew that their audience didn't like the two so they killed them off. Only after they showed them to be bad people so no one would be upset about it.

I guess nobody bothered to check their pulse?
Nikki explained it right after Paolo was bitten by the spider. His body functions would shut down to the point that he would appear dead. To the point that even a doctor would have a hard time getting a pulse.

Plus there is no Holiday Inn Express on the island. They were doomed...

OK it turns out My TIVO actually did tape it. So I didn't miss it.

Terrible episode! Unless they were purposely attempting to have bad acting and a totally unbelievable plot.

Thankfully Nikki and Paulo were burried alive. Lets just hope they stay underground for the rest of the series. Their who story line was a joke.

The only good thing from this episode was Nikki dancing on a pole.

I think it was a "break" episode to break it up a bit. I don't mind these at all. In fact, I wouldn't mind seeing some more from the obscure people we see in the backround from time to time. We know there are more survivors on the island that we have not seen. They all have stories I am sure.

Great episode tonight except the ending wasn't much of a cliffhanger--should be great to see Jack amongst the Losties for the first time this season.

I agree that it was a great episode. I'm guessing that more about the Others and what they know is going to be revealed between the exchange of Sayid and Juliet.

Is anyone else suspicious that Juliet was not really "left", but that this is a setup and she is being used to infiltrate the Losties camp? I think Ben is still manipulating and he has got Jack to the point that he really trusts Juliet. Just a thought.

I don't entirely trust Juliet - is this her way to regain favor with Ben? Or, was she truly left behind?

Where did they go? Did Juliet truly not know what ol Smokey is? Is that what the sonic fence is for?

Where is Danielle?

Interesting back-story too - Kate meeting Sawyer's baby-mama.

Loved Hurley getting one over on Sawyer.

Yeah, wife and I think Juliette is going there on purpose...and was meant to by Henry. Still though...seems too obvious for something Henry would do.

Maybe Henry really thought she was going home with Jack and is done with her.

The question is...what the heck happened with Locke's dad to make him join them and then all of them go off somewhere?

Also, Jack should bring the Losties to the Others camp...much better living arrangements :)
