Evangeline Lilly said on Jimmy Kimmel that Kate's flashback is going to be the sixth episode. I suspect that the rest of the episode will feature her prominently.

At this point, Rambo could be on the island and he'd get killed/captured in five minutes in spite of his expert knowledge of jungle warfare.

Sayid's plan was a failure because someone smart that feels they are being drawn into a trap/ambush will seek a different plan. From the get go I felt his plan wasn't going to work.

He left to many avenues of approach and didn't have enough people to cover them. He would have been better off floating in the water next to the pier or on the roof of the pier (if it supported the weight). Hell, even being on the boat would have been better.

Although I suppose Sayid didn't know the others were after the boat and he assumed they would go after Him, Jin, and Sun.

Also when surviving on an island everyone has to pull their own weight. As much as I would try to protect my wife in this circumstance my wife would need to fight.
