Thanks, puckhead.

So, I guess I will DVR it and watch tomorrow. Can't stay up that late, lol.

Am looking forward to seeing the ENTIRE episode. :)

I wasn't totally liking this one because it was a bit predictable that Sawyer and Juliet thing and then here comes Kate.

What I found interesting is that we now know those that are back on the island are back in 1974. So they not only jumped from the plane to the island, they went back in time 35 years in the process.

I think the other reason I didn't like this episode was the brief time where they showed that huge statue, and then flash they jumped again and were in 1974. I'd have much rather they spent most of the show during the time that statue was there to see what that was all about.

I agree with some of you. Episode was sort of blah. However, you know it's a setup episode so I don't mind these every once in a while. One thing I have come to learn about LOST is that sometimes their "filler" episodes really are not "filler" episodes. Unlike most shows on TV, there is a method to the LOST madness.

Yeah, the funny thing is, an underwhelming episode of LOST is better than 90% of the rest of the stuff out there. :D

Sucks that we have to wait 2 weeks for the next episode. This was definitely a filler episode.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, DTV's ABC channel is down too. And stupid me took down his over-the-air antenna...ugh ugh ugh

Oddly enough, I couldn't get 15 on my antenna. And neither could someone else that I know. It "came back" around 9:00pm.

I thought it was a good episode. Seems like this time travel thing is gonna work out the best for those from the Oceanic flight.

Am waiting for Sawyer to be a bad boy again. I know it's gonna happen.

Doesn't appear as if Ben is gonna be making any friends this season. :D

LOVE THIS SHOW.

Or with the whole time travel thing, the survivors, the 1974 people and the O^ are in the current time. Somehow, some way the island jumped them all together in 2008 or whenever the linear timeline is supposed to be.

I can't help but to wonder just how much of the storyline was planned years ahead and how much are they making up as they go. For example, having Sawyer and the rest become part of the Darhma crew in the 1970's. Was this something they were going to do from the beginning?

I don't think they know the details of every episode but based on interviews I have read, they have known the overall story arc from day 1 and the major events that happen along the way. For instance in their pitch to the networks, they even told the network exactly how the show will end.

They've been pretty consistent stating that with one catch: They had to "fix" Season 3. Even the show runners admit they almost jumped the shark with that one, not only with the storyline but with the way ABC handled promotion and the broken way the ran the episodes.

I think the storylines of Locke and Jack have been etched in stone. Storylines for Hurley and Kate were probably written in ink. Everyone else was probably flexed with possibilities to allow changes in case the show started to sink again. As a writer, I know you never really know what a character's going to reveal until you start writing dialogue, and that's a season-by-season process. Sometimes characters take a life of their own as you write them and they surprise even the writer. It's a very weird process. It's probably why I admire this show so much ... they've maintained their themes through all of their characters, very consistent in their worldview. That's VERY hard to do with such a large cast and so many independently hinged storylines. You always have to bring it home to original perspective, and to do that for this show requires both discipline and a vast understanding of classic fiction.

I really liked this episode. I loved seeing the pinnacle of Sawyer's redemption. As we all know, Kate is only bad news for Sawyer. That's where his heart has always been but he's trapped in his own negative self-worth and doesn't think he's good enough for her. That will be his undoing, I believe.

I loved that we finally got a more upclose look at Dharma. Not many secrets revealed, but it was the missing piece to the cultural puzzle and I'm glad we're there now.

Forgot where I read it but one major character and one semi-major character are supposed to be killed off this season. Season ends May 13 I think.

I think I already know the major character that dies, but judging from the response I got from Mike when I sent him the rumor article, it's probably best if I just let it be a surprise. Pretty shocking to say the least. It's a core member.

I think that the island needs Sun to take the voyage, it is payment somehow.

But then I have to watch the show twice to keep up with the obvious stuff.

All of the "returnees" may have to do some sort of Lost community service before it is over. Sayid's in a cell, Jack gets to be a janitor and Kate watches Sawyer with Juliet, who seems to be ready to make it really difficult. I'm not sure what will happen with Hugo, he may be special and exempt from duty.

It is like, yeah you can come back but you are going to have to take the lumps. Like the five-year-old who gathers up their stuff to “run away” and comes back to find the door locked. They have to pay with a knock to get back in.

The island is teaching them a lesson. Why? It is anybody’s guess.
