The French woman wasn't the one that sent the signal with the numbers in it. She changed the signal after her and her team located the source of the signal 16 years ago.

Someone else was sending the signal with the numbers in it. That is what led the French woman's team to the Island.

It's all about the numbers.

In fact the new show "Numbers" is actually a spin off of "Lost".

Why isn't this thread stickied??

Excellent show! I love the interconnectivity of the numbers, and I'm intrigued by the numbers on that hatch!

I loved the box company connection as well. Excellent, excellent show.

Great news - next new episode will not be 6 weeks away - only 3.

March 30th will be Episode 19.

Lost?

Are they brutalizing this show by not having shows ready to play every week? When is the next new one anyway?

April 13 is the next new episode IIRC. Every episode after that should be new until the season finale.

Tvtome always has the answers. Next episode is in two weeks. It looks as though there will only be four eps this season.

http://www.tvtome.com/Lost/eplist.html
19. 1-19 118 30-Mar-2005 Deux Ex Machina
20. 1-20 119 06-Apr-2005 Do No Harm
21. 1-21 120 20-Apr-2005 The Greater Good (a.k.a. Sides)
22. 1-22 121 27-Apr-2005 Born to Run

There's supposed to be twenty-four episodes this season. The season finale is a two parter, with the second part being 90 minutes.

Deux Ex Machina is a Locke-centric episode; Do No Harm is a Jack episode; The Greater Good is a Sayid episode, and Born to Run is a Kate episode.

ABC was not expecting this to be such a big hit - it was renewed for the final 12 episodes mid-season. They are still filming....

Id be willing to bet the show loses 25% of their viewers because they cant work fast enough or for some reason cant get a show out of the can.

Most shows tape during the week. You do not need to shoot an entire season before you can play one.

Forget where I read it, probably here, but apparently shooting on location in Hawaii they have all sorts of issues, they're essentially in a rain forest, so they either adapt a lot of stories so that raining is not a problem, or they often wait out the rain before they can shoot.

I do agree they could lose some audience if this continues, the bright side is with the NCAA tournament on it's not a bad time to be showing reruns.

Come on guys, lots of shows aren't on for weeks at a time...this just happens...CSI isn't on for like 2-3 weeks right now...

They just go through sweeps, then take a week off, etc.

Anyways, I know for sure they wont be losing THIS fan...and I don't think others will be leaving either...

I agree short term, but I can say this, my girlfriend and I were HUGE Alias fans and the hiatus was so long we don't watch anymore. We tried the new season, can't get into it, and stopped watching. Lost I think is a lot more compelling, part of the problem with Alias is they're recycling the first season again with Sloane in charge and Anna as an enemy, but a HUGE part of the problem is the show was gone for so long, we lost interest.

I'm still at the can't wait for the next show point with Lost.

Yeah, that was different though...they just didn't start the new season until January...most shows start in September or October...

It sure was lame to start so late...

I jumped up and down when I heard there was a new episode. (Yeah, I have no life.) I have to work tonight though. Err. My sis will tape it and I will watch it at 11 p.m. Can't stand not being able to come here the next morning and chat with you guys about this show. LOVE IT!
