Don't kill off Boone. Or Jack. Or Sawyer. :)

I also heard that the first season is supposed to span 40 days in "real" time. Another Biblical reference?

And a special thanks to Jon for pointing out all the specifics I miss and for helping me look smart and cool in front of my fellow Lost viewers.

Eh, he's just getting it from others, on a site or a list group, from people who spend the hours following the show examining each frame of the film.

:D

But he gets full marks for utilizing such a service!

The last time I saw such examination was for Twin Peaks!

Cool enough for me! I have no time for that. This board eats it all up! :)

Yup - I get my info from other sources - people with way too much time on their hands that do screen captures, Tivos, re-watch an episode a hundred times........

I do enjoy passing it on - half the fun of the show is finding out all the little stuff.

Indeed! I'm probably hooked into some of what you're hooked into. It IS fun, no doubt.

I think its great that the writers and producers put so much into the show.

I read in a lot of places that people having problems with the big break between new episodes, how frustrating it is that it's taking them so long to uncover that hatch, etc.

I think the genius of the show is that's it's slow and steady...it's so cool that it's taking this long for things to happen...

Tell me this...would that light coming on have been as chilling or awesome if it hadn't been slowly unvieled?

I mean, that light coming on was just outright, downright spine-tingling awesome...

Depending on what happens, that has to be one of the top moments in TV this season...I mean damn...

I wonder if there's been any fanfic on the show. I guess I could go look.

I wouldn't want to try it though, because what you write could so quickly and easily become contradictory one week to the next.

WOW. Cool stuff, Jon.

Regarding losing viewers, I guess some people just can't be patient, but I'm with Chandler Mike. I think the way things are playing out only heightens the excitement. And I don't find the show slow at all.

what do you guys thing the significance of all the heroin found? I know Locke had a lot to do with Charlie getting off of it but I can't seem to find a correlation.

Hope Charlie doesn't find the stash !!!

Yes and no. She'll give birth to the antichrist ... they've been hinting along those lines anyway

What a great episode. I didn't cry, but I was at the edge of my seat. And it looks like Said shoots Locke in the next episode or in the finale. WOW.

awesome!

I think Locke has lost it from the coming attractions. Cant wait for the 2 hour episode. Best show on tv by far. Getting to Sopranos level.

Assuming everyone who's reading saw the show, if not don't read below.

Yeah our theory is Locke needed a "sacrifice" in order to keep his ability to walk so he set him up.

And of course the whole, birth/death thing was pretty cool too. the guy who plays Boone needs to get a better agent. :D

Very very good episode. Now the fun part is figuring out what happens next.

Who says he's staying dead? Remember Jack's Dad's body was never found.

Death on this show means nothing. Hell he might come back on the next episode :)

I will admit, I got teary-eyed at the end of this one....just such an amazing show, where you can go from freaked out, adrenaline pumping, to tears with someone dying, and a newborn baby.

No one is talking about the baby...that guy told Claire not to have it...and now there it is...

Wonder what will happen with that.

Such a great episode...Jack's backstory was great...wonder what happened to him and his wife? And his passion to save Boone...that was awesome.

Great acting all-around this ep...Kate especially was so much more animated and emotional then she ever has been before...was good to see.

When summer comes, and there are just repeats of this show...it's going to be sad :)
