Thanks man. Sounds like I missed a good one. At least I know what happened though.
Actually they didn't tell you the best part of it in their epsiode guide ... the ending.
If you don't want to find out about the ending now, please skip ahead
***SPOILERS***
In Locke's next to last flashback, we see him arguing with one of the people that are in charge of the Walkabout journey that he wanted to go on. The person in charge says that he says that he wouldn't let him go on the journey because of his condition.
Locke says he had been living with this condition for 4 years and that he could handle the journey. He kept referring to it as his destiny to go on that trip.
The person in charge ultimately says that he could not go due to the risks with the insurance company in charge. He tells Locke that they can't wait and that they have to go on the journey with out him.
As we see the bus full of tourists pull away, we find out what Locke's condition was. He is paralyzed and in a wheelchair.
We then see another flashback to the first episode, where right after the crash we see Locke moving his feet with a somewhat stunned look on his face. The doctor asks him to help and he stands up, puts his shoes on and goes to help him out.
It then goes back to the present, where while the people are doing to the memorial ceremony around the burning fusolage, Locke takes a look at the wheelchair that he formerly used with a smirk on his face.
