The odds are stacked against us as it stands. Most places have us at a 4 to 8 percent shot of getting the wild card.

I've used the simulator from the nytimes and it predicts that if we were to win out, we have a 89 percent chance of making it at any capacity (1st place->to->or wild card). I know most folks in here would probably think we have no shot in hell of winning out, but I am not willing to accept that yet.

I saw two things agains the skins that gave me a boost of confidence.

1. Carson Palmer played as well and composed as he has all year.
2. Arians Health Scare seems to have calmed him down, and his decision making seemed less suspect.

On top of this, I was looking at the teams we are in direct contention with and how often they play each other. Look at all these matchups:

Packers vs Seahawks
Saints vs Bucs
Giants vs Lions
Vikings vs Packers
Bucs vs Saints
Lions vs Packers
Giants vs Redskins

It all starts with a win in Miami, a winnable one against the Saints, a game against a more relaxed Seahawks assuming they will have clinched, and a very managble game in LA.

Watcha think?

Seattle never relaxes. It's what makes them so annoyingly good. If the Cards are to have a chance at the playoffs, they'll have to really prove they deserve it with a win in Seattle.

I would like to see us win out to get some swagger back going into the off-season. playoffs and a win in the playoffs would just add icing.

They need to look good(like the old cards) against Miami to have a chance to win out. If they go back to what they were like this whole season, there is not chance the will even sniff a wildcard.

Well win this Sunday and green bay loses we move past them and have a really good shot. The key is Minnesota losing once more and washington losing once. If green bay wins then the wild card gets harder because we would have to have green bay lose to a bad team or the giants to implode. But Seattle will only be 2 game s ahead of us with us playing them once. A huge lift would be the Rams beating them next week if Green bay does.
