So if I'm hearing this right, I should bet every dime I own on the NY Giants to win the Superbowl next year because they signed all these players. Worked really well for Philly a couple years ago!! Just because the planets aligned and everything worked for Denver this year doesn't mean this will be the norm. If Manning hadn't returned this year nobody would've been talking about what a great approach this was.

Comparing how good the Gmen to how good the Cards are is night a day!!!

Peeps here aren't saying we should've unloaded Mr Bs bank vault, but we had a chance at a couple of moves to improve this team & its chances to win the Super Bowl. I know FA just began but we've got very little moves left to make this team the Super Bowl favorite unless we strike gold in the draft which is highly unlikely.

Normally I would be ticked that the Cards are somewhat silent this year but with the amount of money that's being overspent, I'm not mad they aren't signing these players. I know of no team that has ever bought their way to a Super Bowl title. This isn't baseball.

Not really. They brought in Manning, DeMarcus Ware and Talib but for the most part they built through the draft and it was their drafted players on defense that made the biggest impact. Good teams compliment their drafted players with key free agents. They don't over spend on top players and then win. I've never seen an NFL team go all Yankees and end up winning a title.

Along with the Safety TJ Ward. I bet those signings were $150 mil or more..so yes the bought a SB.

I'm pretty confident enough if the Cards would've had Ware & Freeney as their OLBs we would be SB champs. I was screaming for Wares signing.
