yeah, nash did wonders for jrich. yuck.
Ok fine not quite everyone. But I hear steven hunter still sends daily thank you cards nashs way.

You do raise a good point though. What will Amar'e be like if he isn't getting amazing passes from Nash? Is Amar'e a player that can "get his own shot"? We'll see. It hasn't worked out so well for Shawn Marion.Ok fine not quite everyone. But I hear steven hunter still sends daily thank you cards nashs way.

Well if the Cleveland rumors are true, Lebron will make him an even better player then Nash ever could. Not just from a passing perspective but from taking focus away from Amare on every play.
"Although the Heat have first-round picks available to sweeten any Stoudemire deal -- with the Suns hoping to come away with at least one first-rounder if they decide to trade Stoudemire this week -- sources say Phoenix has no interest in taking back Jermaine O'Neal's hefty expiring contract because, at $23 million, it requires more players to be worked into the deal than the Suns are comfortable with. Yet one source insisted Monday night that the Suns have not ruled out taking back forward Michael Beasley as part of a Stoudemire deal. The Heat -- after carefully preserving their salary-cap space for months -- are suddenly pushing hard to make a big trade splash now if possible instead of waiting for free agency in July and gambling on the idea that they can lure a marquee name such as LeBron James or Chris Bosh to South Beach to flank Dwyane Wade."

Sold. The pickS are really the deal. The players I don't care about. Beasley would be icing. That's not to say that I personally would not want Beasley, I certainly would, but this FO doesn't seem to be there with me.
Take this deal. Is there any useable youth/depth in that group of players?
Think about MIA - Alston-Wade-Beasley-Amare-O'Neal
Not bad....
Mario Chalmers, Daequan Cook, Dorell Wright, Quentin Richardson, and Draft Picks to the Suns...
Vomit. None of those players is worth a crap, and the draft picks will be weak.
Yeah, because James has such an impressive track record of making his high-paid teammates better. Hang on while I think of several examples ... um, okay, a few ... wait a sec ... hmm, any?
Mo Williams, Delonte West, Anderson Varejo, Jason Kapono, Boobie Gibson, etc.
He makes players around him better. Thats indisputable. The players listed above wouldn't see the light of day on most teams.
