I was looking for financial numbers Cardinals gave him

You can research these type of questions by typing in keywords in your 'Search' Box. For example, 'Mike Glennon contract Arizona Cardinals 2018'

A website with all things $$$ for sports teams is 'Over the Cap' As of 11:25 am AZ time, Mike Glennon is still listed with his Chicago Bear contract.

Haven't seen any info that he is a done deal with the Cards.

So, bookmark the 'Over the Cap' website.

Here's the contract detail page:

A low-rounder, perhaps. One you don't NEED to get the reps.

If this is Keim being aggressive, he needs to go.

Well, since Bradford is almost always hurt and Glennon is no good, I have a very hard time imagine that they are counting on those two being the primary and secondary quarterback, and thus the quarterbacks that will get the most reps. Another thing is that I highly doubt that a first- or second round picked quarterback would be the third string right away. I haven’t seen any numbers on Glennon’s deal but I would think it is a small deal where the Cardinals protected themselves and can get out of it easily. Or, in other words, a contract where they don’t sort of need to get him any reps. Bradford’s deal is basically peanuts in todays NFL for a starting quarterback. Low risk, high reward.

So, I guess your thoughts on the matter is based on your interpretation of being aggressive? You could also argue that being aggressive would mean that you made sure there at least was quarterbacks on the roster that could start the season, which they obviously did by signing two guys right away. Or it could mean offering more money than other teams were willing to give said quarterbacks, which we don’t know if they did but it is a possibility. You could also be aggressive by having multiple plans ready, and then being highly prepared to move on when it becomes necessary, which they obviously did when their mega-offer to Kirk Cousins wasn’t accepted, and when Drew Brees turned down their request. Being aggressive is not the same as being decisive in where players signs.

I think Bradford will earn a long term deal from the cardinals and hold off all comers - love to see him with CJ and Fitz -

Not much difference between Palmer's injury history and Bradford's. Don't forget---we were ready to head into 2018 with Palmer at our #1 guy. We just changed out which walking wounded QB will be our starter. (n Windows, hit CTRL and the + symbol to enlarge)

Anyone see a news report that the Cards have a done deal with Glennon? Did we jump the gun at the starter's line on this????

cant be a done deal, he has not been released yet... assuming it is an agreement with his agent for when he gets his expected release.

Has just been released.

Ian Rapoport‏Verified account@RapSheet
The #AZCardinals are signing QB Mike Glennon to a 2-year deal worth $8M, source said. He has upside in addition to that

Chicago Bears‏Verified account@ChicagoBears
We have officially released QB Mike Glennon, WR Marcus Wheaton and DB Marcus Cooper.

Thanks Oaken1 and Az Jam. I saw the Heading title and just jumped in assuming it was a done deal.

I see DB Cooper also got released---he had a few good games with the Cards before the Bears signed him.

I will bet almost anything that doesn’t happen.
1 push-up and a pic of it - if cards keep bradford for the 2nd year option ? Fair bet - I’m disabled vet so can’t do many - use to bet 10 push-up per point difference when we played cowpukes twice a year.

This is just so far from the truth, I don't know what to say Scott. Come on man.

...dave

I love ya Dave, but you are a Kool-Aid drinker, through and through. Glennon is hot garbage. Arguing otherwise is a bigger freaking joke than when you used to question if Amos is really THAT bad a couple years ago.

Oh hell garbage again - your talking about a card player now- I got his back - damn fine hire at 2 year $8 mill - throw dirt in foles, bradford, KW, CP hell we threw away Josh Mcnown a decade ago - none are garbage - all have great potential - better if we don’t throw like our hair is on fire and put maximum pressure on our online most of every game. Thank you Mike Glennon for being a Cardinal.

Most importantly, I must call you out AGAIN for fake news regarding my take on Amos. I have NEVER defended him, nor even questioned whether he might possibly be anything less than awful and inexcusable. Feel free to use the search function here to verify.

But back on topic... You cannot possibly support the claim that Stanton is better than Glennon. It's another complete BS claim and an erroneous emotional response by you. It's just objectively a million miles from being true. Glennon's worst season is on par with Stanton's best. Glennon's overall numbers are those of an above average backup, while Stanton's are, as you say, hot garbage.

so that’s where he’s been hiding in all those years

You are one old dude to see that connection. At least he will come with plenty of cash of his own---if he didn't loose it all after jumping out of the plane.
