D'Backs are falling apart. Can't handle the pressure. Rookie manager making many bad decisions like sitting their best players. Lamb, Pollack and Goldsmith need to play every day.

I can't argue about sitting the players today. It is true that TL has made some bad decisions, but I think he has made many more good decisions and is doing an overall great job with this team. He will learn from his mistakes, he has said so himself. Did any of us think we would be 56-42 at this point?

Every team has ups and downs over a 162 game season. I completely disagree about the pressure, they have come back and come through many clutch times this year.

I for one am looking forward to the rest of the year.

I only saw the bottom of the 5th, where we had men on first and third, one out, a pitcher with an ERA of over 7 and our number 4 and 5 hitters coming to the plate. Goldy whiffs on a ball 4 and Owings grounds out weakly to short.

Absolutely abysmal. I can't imagine paying good money to watch this AA level team play...... Suck-O-Rama, man......

I really hope Torey didn't sit AJ and Lamb because he essentially gave up against Strasburg before the game ever started... since we haven't heard any other valid reason for their benching, I'm concerned about his decision-making in this instance...

I was thinking the same thing. But it's what he does. I still would only give Lamb his days off when we are facing lefty pitching.

Apparently I picked a good weekend to take the kids camping. :*(

Sounds like the first two games were very competitive tho.
