Navarre and Croom.

Alrighty, let's see what kind of toys are burried at the bottom of the chest. I like these moves--not because I think we're necessarily going to find a couple of gems that will instantly turn us into contenders, though. I like them because it let's us know where we stand.

Can Navarre become and NFL QB? Maybe--we won't know until we see. Don't look for him to manage an entire game and play mistake free (he won't). Look for signs that tell us he might develop into something more. Look for individual drives where he seems to be "getting it." Let's see if he has a fire in his belly and can provide a spark to the offense and be a leader of men. If he can show me these things, I'll be pleased.

As for Croom, I'm going to be looking to see if he can pick up the blitzing backers. Can he find the hole and hit it, while still maintaining enough control and vision to make a cutback? What I saw against the jets was a kid who finishes his runs very strong and has the potential to make the first guy miss. I hope he can build on that.

For good or bad, it's an exciting time to be a cardinals' fan!

I agree....

And for all those koolaid drinkers out there understand this: The Cards are not going to make the playoffs under any wild ass scenario. They are playing for next year and evaluating what they ave on the roster. I wouldnt be suprised if other moves follow.

The easiest part of the schedule for the Cards is coming up, lets get these guys in there and see what we have so we can dump McCown and King this off-season with a clear conscious.

I totally disagreed with you last week, however after what I saw yesterday I'm getting in line behind you.

Still would be nice to win our last 3 home games because, regardless of the record, winning at home and sending the fans of the other team out of SDS with a loss is always fun.

Absolutely. I think we all agree that we have a good solid and young defense but need to overhaul the offense. So why not give them all a chance.

At least we'll know if he was any good or not, unlike Parsons. Lets see what the kid can do.

You know you’re absolutely right there is no chance that the Cards can make the payoffs. The Giants are a lock for that final spot. They are 5-6 and have won; wait I mean lost their last 4 games. It must be that powerhouse Rams team, wait they are only at 5-5. It must be Dallas then, wait how about Detroit, Chicago, Carolina, Tampa Bay, or New Orleans. They are all at 4-7, way to much ground for the Cards to make up.

The Cards are only 1 game out of that last spot and only 2 out of the division lead. How they played that last few weeks it doesn’t look probable but it is not that far fetched. Their schedule is very winnable from here on out. It could all come down to that last game against TB

Keep dreaming.

This is a team with 1 road win in 2 years, a team with no QB, w/o emmitt, no running game, and very little talent on offense at this point.

Sure the 'records' might say they are capable of making the playoffs, but come on, in reality they dont have any a shot.

Of course, as Jeff pointed out, stranger things can happen.

I would bet thousands and thousands on Carolina being that last team. They are gaining momentum and only need to tie us to beat us out cause they hold the head to head tiebreaker.

Green's main concern is building this team. I like it! Move foward use the team to find out what we tryly need. I remember some coachesa who didn't have the balls to make moves Green is searching for a winning combo. There will be a lot more changes come next year. A peek intoi the future..

New RB maybe two
New TE
TWo new O- line men
New FB
Corner
D-line,
Starting QB if Navare doesn't show enough.

The great thing is that we will compete to get to the big show and it will be real soon.
