A tiny bit hung over. I got my first Cyber Security certification after studying for 25-30 hours a week for the past 5 weeks, while working full time. I'm tired.
Congrats!
FWIW, we really don't spend a lot of time here talking about the Worst Arizona Cardinals teams. I'm a big believer that you are what your record says you are, so if this team is 2-15, there's a real argument that this would be the worst Arizona Cardinals team ever.
The complications obviously are the expectations going into the year. The over/under on this team is 4.5. The over/under on last year's team was 8.5. The over/under on the 2018 Wilks team was 6.0.
Underrated terrible Cards teams are the 2012 Cardinals under Whis. Yes, they finished 5-11, but they started 4-0 and got absolutely boat-raced 58-0 in Seattle that year. What a disaster. That team's over/under was 7.0.
I think and hope that this team will be looked at/remembered like Dave McGinnis's 2003 debacle. Finished 4-12, last in points scored and in points allowed. Between the rookie class and the 2004 rookie class, we had the foundation for a Super Bowl team. The over/under that season was 5.
Let's remember a guy: Reggie Wells! Got a second contract and started 93 games. Former sixth round pick from Clarion. Earned a starting job for six straight seasons with the Cards before retiring after 10 years in the NFL.
