Now that the cheerleader thread is closed...

OK...Russ, a friend of mine, has a cousin who is dating one of the Cards' cheerleaders.

Russ was over at my house yesterday for a BBQ and swimfest in the new pool. He was having a party today & his cousin's girl said that she was going to bring a bunch of her cheerleader friends to go swimming, drink & have fun.

I was up late last night picking up after my party (12-ish) & our 19 month old daughter was up way too late too. Usually our little one takes her nap noon-ish. Well, becuase she was up late last night, she didn't go down for her nap until 2:30 (I AM going somewhere with this story...)

She slept until 4:30, so we end up at Russ' around 5:00. The party was going pretty good, many people in the pool, music going, beer & margs flowing. Well, it turns out that the cheerleaders (about 10 of 'em) had just left. They were playing volleyball in the pool & looked just great but they were going to another party.

I missed them by 15 minutes!

The kicker is when my wife & I left (she knew the cousin's girl from some previous parties at Russ' & said "Damn that girl looks hot in a bikini & I'm surprised they left early")...well right when we were leaving, another SUV load of cheerleaders pull up & get out & jiggle the way that cheerleaders do.

Such is the life of the married man! I felt like I was on the set of Hidden Hills. I took my camera to share my sights with you guys, but alas, I was too late for the first set & left too early for the last set.

Why did the cheerleader thread get shut down?

I could understand if someone put up porn or something, but classy pics of cheerleaders and other attractive women?

Well, someone posted pictures of semi-clothed porns stars. I agree with Skkorp on this one. Obviously it crossed the line from the normal peppy cheerleaders to semi-clothed skanks.

Oh well, June 1st is right around the corner. Then rookie camp starts June 2, and another week of full squad practice starts June 9. So we will be back to football soon anyway.

Actually they weren't porn stars. They were even technically cheerleaders, they just cheer on the WWF or one of those other wrestling organizations. I think one or two thong pics would have been acceptable, but they posted about three or four in a row and I think that is what got the thread booted.

Who really cares though, mini camps are right around the corner.

I'm not a prude but the guidelines are simple. This is a PG board. The last few photos crossed the line into R territory.

Actually, I'm surprised the cheerleader thread stayed within the bounds of decorum so long.

During the doldrum period, strange withdrawal behaviors manifest themselves daily. No big deal.

The thong pics were of Stacy Keibler, a WWF "diva". Anyway, the cheerleader thread had pretty much run its course.

A couple of months back when I was checking a Chiefs board for news about Holliday, I saw a cheerleader thread there. I checked it out and by the 2nd or 3rd page there were links to porn sites being posted and pictures even more revealing than the ones that finished our thread. So, yes, we did pretty well I think.

I'll see if anyone took any pics. I was bummed....

There were a bunch of calendars they were signing & I'll say there were about a dozen or so signatures on the calendars. I was going to grab one but I had the 19 month old & in my haste of gathering up all of her stuff, I left it on the bar. The wife was too busy slamming margs, so I was on kid duty.

My brother-in-law (who has a hot wife) said that he had to keep drinking beer & margs or else he would've been drooling too much. :thumbup:
