Am I the only one that thinks Steve Albert sounds like Al McCoy?

Watching Faried play is so depressing.

So true. Sometimes I think teams (the Suns) get locked into who has the most potential and less about who is the best player now.

Beasley is so unbelievably bad. He just sucks the life out of the offense.

Goran heating up, getting us back in the game.

Gortat just looks so tentative.

Thankfully Dragic looking good.

I think the Suns now trailed by double digits in all but one game this season.

Again, does anyone hear a slight resemblance of the voice of Steve Albert and a younger Al McCoy besides me?

Close your eyes and listen. It's not all the time but sometimes. :D

I love Al, I don't really like this guy. I don't really want to hear a similarity. For the first time in my NBA League Pass history, I'm recording both the home and the away broadcasts and for the most part I'm watching/listening to the other guys. To be fair though, it's not just because of Steve, I'm also not a fan of Eddie Johnson. I know this goes against the grain here but I think Eddie is one of the worst analysts out there and that's saying something. Pair him with our new doofus and I'd rather listen to enemy homers than our guys.

Steve

I hear you. Al McCoy is something special. Eddie Johnson just loves to talk... too much IMO.

Steve sounds more like his brother Marv, with brief pauses, then highlighting certain words.

Al talks a lot faster, but you have to paint a picture on the radio that is right there on TV. Even when the Suns first began televising a lot of their games, Al was doing radio/TV simulcasts, which isn't easy. Too much talk for TV -- not enough for radio.

There is a similarity between Steve and Al in their choice of words. They both sound like fossils. Like Joe Garagiola, Sr., and Tim McCarver in baseball.

As I mentioned when the season began, I found him to be irritating to listen to but, to his credit, Steve loosened up quickly and I am adjusting to him.

What happened to Dragic? I guess I better not mention resting Dragic more. :(

I must have adjusted too well since I'm hearing voices... Al McCoy.

Dragic played only 9 minutes in the first half. I don't understand it unless he is banged up.

What's up with Gentry? Trying to get fired? Keeping his best scorer on the bench for the second quarter. I'll shut my mouth, if we still win this game, but if not I blame him... ;)

I mean player gets hot and then you bench him for the rest of the half...I know now why, two fouls ok, my bad :)

Actually I heard Dragic got banged up a bit but Gentry decided Telfair was playing so well somewhere near the 3 minute mark he decided to rest Dragic at that point.

I wasn't aware of his foul trouble at the time and yes considering the bang, it seem reasonable why he didn't play...
Anyway another hot player goes on the bench, Beasley, I know players need to rest, but the timing of Gentry's subs seems off. But we look good now, arguably best quarter this team had so far. Just keep Goran in Gentry :)

Dragic is playing like he could become the Suns star player. That pass to Gortat at the rim was awesome.
