That's not a big move in betting terms. It hasn't crossed a key number until it gets to +/- 3. If it gets there, there will be some large bets that will move the line back instantly

I don't think Darius had an injury setback.

I think his Mom died 3 weeks ago. His Dad's not in the picture. He has an older brother that's 23 years older so was basically just him and his Mom growing up.

It's life changing stuff. Most people aren't going to just crack on. Plus it probably set his recovery schedule back.

Think about the weight of this for a 22-23 year old.....
You've been drafted, moved across the country and away from everything/everyone you've ever known.
You get injured in practice, with all the expectations still on your shoulders, and then your best friend/mother dies.

That's a tough situation anyone, much more so for someone in Darius's position.

If you look at it from a human perspective, putting Darius on IR for the season probably isolates him even more at a time when he needs people around him.

ESPN (Mina Kimes) had segment today about how weak the Jets run defense is (bottom 5) especially between the tackles and how good the Cardinals with JC are in attacking that area.
If the defense can cool their Jets I like our chances.

Looks like we will be a running offense again this week.

I like it.

They gave up 187 yards rushing to Texans team with weak oline.

Wow! Jet's are huge trouble then!

And I see what you did there! :)

For sure, and I don't think the team will do that. But I think they are just giving him time to get his head straight rather than pushing him to compete. I would expect him back after the bye though.

That's here.

This feels like one of those games where were at home, we've been on a good run, the matchup looks good for us, a 4 win streak going into the bye week would be awesome and we just crap the bed. I really like our coaching staff, but they have a habit of sticking with their guys so I expect them to do something dumb like give SMB the majority of snaps at CB and for him to get cooked by Garrett Wilson.

If that is the case, I am more than okay with him taking his time. Life is more important than football.
