This guys big skill is sideline to sideline speed. As a safety, that could really be a key asset. I think this could be his best position. I am hoping he stays back with Budda at safety! Jalen in the slot, has to be the best slot option for the team by far.IIRC, most, if not all, of Simmons' big/splash plays seem to be when he's playing off the ball and watching things develop....then he closes for the big hit and fumble or the int. Maybe Gannon and Rallis want to play him deep to see if he can be consistent at it. We already know having him anywhere near the LOS, trying to react and cover, is bad news.
The stadium is cool. I like how the Chargers do it, with the practice field training camp and fans right on the sidelines. Of course in PHX right now, we would all pretty much die from the heat. The Chargers have a philosophy where each day of camp two different position groups must interact with fans. Other guys like Herbert, etc, can also. I haven't been to a Cards TC session. Kind of interested if they do the same things.xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
It worked out for Rocky against Apollo Creed in Rocky II,I'm seeing some reports that Christian Matthew is running the with 1s over Hamilton.
In that interview Colt says he's been playing 25 years with his right foot forward on shotgun snaps and now Petzig wants him to play with his left foot forward. Colt says its difficult to unlearn that but he's gonna do it; I gotta wonder if its even a good idea?
Only thing I can think of, if his right foot is back, he's immediately in a throwing motion...so can snap quick throws on short slants and stuff. That's all I got at the moment.I'm seeing some reports that Christian Matthew is running the with 1s over Hamilton.

I actually Googled it and it looks like several QBs have been coached to go left foot forward. I found several articles a about it, going back almost 10 years.
