Still going nuts...it 72 out now...funny, the whole time, no real lightning, just rain...but now it's lightning...just had a flash and then BOOM in like 1 second...was close!

Seriously, I don't think it's rained like this at my house since I've lived here? I mean, it's been an hour straight of pouring rain?

By the way, on the radar, my house is like just below the E in Tempe...between the E and the county border...so you can see like all the red that keeps hitting it.

There has got to be a way to put an admin on ignore, right?

:bang:

There is an awful lot of yellow and green behind this thing all the way up to Payson...wonder if it will continue on down...

Gee, I am sorry...you have to know, I'm like totally feeling for you the last few days and everytime I look at the radar, I'm looking for your house first :)

Nice. :) That is one of the few things we don't get here when it rains is the possibility of very heavy severe downpours. :( But we get lots of showers to make up for that. lol

JUst took the dog out for a walk and it was sprinkling on me (No not from the dog!) I didn't see any rain clouds until I rounded the corner to look Northeast and some some nice dark clouds moving in this general direction. Things seem to be kicking off over Yavapai County First today. I hope this is a good thing!!

My dad called me last night at 6:50 from his summer house in Heber/Overgaard to tell me it was 65 degrees. He called to laugh at me because he saw it was 101 here.

I couldn't enjoy a monsoon after that so I just ignored radar.

Why couldnt you enjoy a monsson? 65 degrees is way too cold, I would have laughed at him for living in antartica.. 65 degrees to me is nothing to be proud of..

Just started raining here about 25 mins ago. Nice steady shower. Overall maybe a half an inch in the end so far.

65 degrees is toward the bottom end of "warm." I don't reach for a jacket until it's about 55 degrees, and I don't reach for a heavy jacket until it approaches freezing ... let's say around low 40s.

I must admit except when it sunny here it feels like a Phoenix Winter right now. It is crazy. Raining and dark and cool in the 60's. My body is confused because of this cause I just want to crawl into bed and sleep. LOL

I love AZ weather. Every time I've talked to my mom lately she's complained about how it's rained every day for the last 20 something days in Florida. Now that I'm able to compare both Arizona's summer and the southeast summer, I'll take AZ anytime.

Drove up to Flagstaff last night. We go through Payson and along Mormon Lake/Lake Mary. Drove up in steady rain. Very cool. Even with the rain we saw a coyote and several deer.

Weather was great up there. Never really rained on us in the city - which was great because we went hiking up Mount Elden.

On the drive back it rained as hard as I've ever seen it for nearly 15 solid minutes - from Upper Lake Mary until past Mormon Lake. Visibility was almost non-existent at times and many people pulled off of the road just to be safe. It was pretty awesome. Just before 5 we were driving and everything was clear, but we could see the storm clouds a few miles ahead. From 5:10 - 5:25 the rain slammed down on us non-stop. Then it was clear most of the rest of the way home.

Nice. Erin and I drove up around noon on Saturday and hit a nice storm outside Flag. The temp gauge on the car kept dropping. Dropping. Dropping. It finally settled at 59 (!) degrees in the middle of the storm. Outstanding.

We walked around in the sprinkles a bit and went to Beaver Street Brewery for some beers and lunch. What a wonderful day...until we got back to Phoenix and 103 degrees.
