Wow! Got over 1 1/2 inches yesterday and into last night! Raging washes! Stupid people stuck in the washes! Overall, the best storm this season by far!!

Is Gila Bend still above water? Did it get blown away last night? Looks like they're seeing more heavy storm activity right now.

Tropical Storm Dalila off the coast of Mexico is interesting because it looks like it's been kicking moisture our way, getting caught up in the tropical flow coming off the Gulf. That, combined with a wayward southerly pull of air into the Gulf off the Atlantic looks like we're going to see a lot of moisture throughout the week.

It's interesting because we haven't seen much cyclone activity on either side, but the flow of moisture is just sucking right up the eastern Mexico coastline into the U.S. southwest. It's promising for more rain this summer!

Looking like its getting pretty active to the south and those storms are slowly moving up this way....and out east of Globe there are stome storms moving in also. I think all the cloud cover and rain early is gonna give us later storms than the past few days....but what do I know. I am still mad I didnt get a drop of rain yesterday.

It is pouring right now. They are saying there are numerous power outages around town. This storm rolled in really fast and is making a big hit.

Well, its pretty much died out.. A cell is coming in from the NE.. Why does Scottsdale get all these storms? Dont them rich bastards have enough luxury? Now they gotta steal the free rain too?

Well there are some storms on a NW direction toward Prescott Valley. We shall see. Since I am now an OFFICIAL National Weather Service Trained Severe Storm Spotter who gets a special number to call the Flagstaff National Weather Service to report Severe Weather in my area. Woo hoo. P.S. attached is a picture of my free toy I got from my training!! If you can't tell it is a rain gauge.
