I don't think he is either.
I’m not going to be surprised. No one thought Paris Lennon was going to replace Dansby when we let him walk either, but the Cardinals have a penchant for low balling their own and then signing bargain basement guys to replace them, despite the board thinking those guys are just being brought in for depth.

Sure hope not. Would be a step back for sure.

yup. they still need to go get another edge in round 1 or 2 and hopefully, finally edge by committee with multiple guys getting 6-8 sacks can register a consistent pass-rush. I saw that theory bounded about a lot, but people were talking about the Gardeck/Collins/BJ/Dimukeje guys reaching 6-8 sacks, which was fantasy. I mean, that group is the least fearsome foursome at edge I can ever imagine.

Now, hopefully our edge looks more like Sweat/1st Round Edge (i'd go here again, or a DT)/Browning/BJ. Is that the best edge group in the league? no. but it's a hell of a lot better than what we had, assuming we actually get someone halway decent at 16 at either DT/Edge.

Yeah. It’s interesting. They probably have some uncertainty about whether they can add someone on top of what they have (a first round pick) or under (late second-day or third or FA.

It’ll really say something about how they still feel about Beej if they don’t put someone on top of him come draft time.

Thought about this as well. Seems like he is odd man out as far as pass rushers. Sweat, BJ, Browning, Gardeck.
Nah. Browning is a situational pass rusher right now, probably. Zaven is the two-down dude.

I definitely expect to add on top in the draft. First two picks has to be between edge, DT and OL.

Blount was a RFA. You cannot compare the two
I just did bro.

The idea is that he is a "special teams guy". I am guessing JG and Monti are hoping for a little more than that based on his total amount of money and getting him on day 1.

Absolutely!! Kupp would make this offense sing! 2 years 32 million, DO IT! Plus, he is leaving the Rams on not so good terms. That would help us when we play them for sure.
