That is more than we signed Blount for. I would guess, yes, he will play special teams but also get on the field. If he is White's replacement they really dug deep.Special teams player?

Bengals to lose former draft pick to Cardinals in free agency

I don't think he is either.H
His coverage numbers are worse than White, so i don't see him replacing White.
Tough to tell. He started 11 games in 5 years for the Bengals. That would seem to end the Kyzir White possibility. Could be just depth at that price. Who knows
What does "up to 11 million" mean? Probably a couple million in incentives and game day roster bonuses.Seems like a lot for a special teams guy but our cap space isn’t going to spend itself.
I’m not going to be surprised. No one thought Paris Lennon was going to replace Dansby when we let him walk either, but the Cardinals have a penchant for low balling their own and then signing bargain basement guys to replace them, despite the board thinking those guys are just being brought in for depth.I don't think he is either.
Sure hope not. Would be a step back for sure.I’m not going to be surprised. I would take Denzel ward off the browns hands if the money worksLike it or not, there is a lot of CB/S talent on the FA market...worth at least exploring. (Unless you're a big fan of SMB or STV)
yup. they still need to go get another edge in round 1 or 2 and hopefully, finally edge by committee with multiple guys getting 6-8 sacks can register a consistent pass-rush. I saw that theory bounded about a lot, but people were talking about the Gardeck/Collins/BJ/Dimukeje guys reaching 6-8 sacks, which was fantasy. I mean, that group is the least fearsome foursome at edge I can ever imagine.
Now, hopefully our edge looks more like Sweat/1st Round Edge (i'd go here again, or a DT)/Browning/BJ. Is that the best edge group in the league? no. but it's a hell of a lot better than what we had, assuming we actually get someone halway decent at 16 at either DT/Edge.
Nah. Browning is a situational pass rusher right now, probably. Zaven is the two-down dude.Thought about this as well. Seems like he is odd man out as far as pass rushers. Sweat, BJ, Browning, Gardeck.
Blount was a RFA. You cannot compare the twoThat is more than we signed Blount for. I would guess, yes, he will play special teams but also get on the field. If he is White's replacement they really dug deep.

I definitely expect to add on top in the draft. First two picks has to be between edge, DT and OL.Yeah. It’s interesting. They probably have some uncertainty about whether they can add someone on top of what they have (a first round pick) or under (late second-day or third or FA.
It’ll really say something about how they still feel about Beej if they don’t put someone on top of him come draft time.

I just did bro.Blount was a RFA. You cannot compare the two
I meant contract-wise if it wasn’t clearI just did bro.
The idea is that he is a "special teams guy". I am guessing JG and Monti are hoping for a little more than that based on his total amount of money and getting him on day 1.
NopeWould you?

Yeah anyone hoping for Henderickson is nuts.I highly doubt that the Cardinals will pursue Hendrickson now that Sweat and Browning have been signed. They have other holes that need to be addressed at this point.
. . . so . . . exactly what the cardinals are going to do!Sure hope not. Would be a step back for sure.
Good for him. Good for the Vikings. He is good in their scheme.Bryon Murphy got paid. 3 years, 66 million to stay with Vikings.
