Curry is making a case to be a top 2 guy at this point.

Laurinaitis - 4.80.

Unimpressive. Him moving outside is probably dead now.

Clay Matthews - 4.64

And don't let Cushing's time bother you, he had really good burst in the first 10.

Connor Barwin is tantalizing to think about at the Predator spot.

Gerald McRath with a 4.50...impressive.

Now they're off to LB drills.

I want Aaron Curry on the Cards soooo bad.

Cushing = noticeably stiff hips.

Marcus Freeman looked nice.

Lauriniaits's feet get stuck in the muck from time to time.

Matthews looked decent.

I like the second day inside linebackers. Too bad we don't really need one.

Brinkley is such a thumper its not even funny. Not smooth at all during Kit-Kat drills.

Curry is owning the combine.

Cushing kept staring at the floor and was unsure with his footing.

Curry has it all. I would love to see him on the Cards. uggh.

Dare I say, Detroit takes him #1 overall? They just might...

Barwin's numbers today took him out of our round 2 possibilities IMO.. which sucks

Hard to really get a good feel for who we should take

Cushing looked a lot better in the LB coverage drill.

Laurenaitis looked good also.

Laurinaitis = smooth in coverage.

Matthews looks good at it, too.

McRath has really good feet.

Worrell Williams is quick in short distances.

Freeman will be the better pro than Laurenaitis. I think Laurenaitis will be best as a ST player, and a goal-line/Run stuffing ILB. He lacks the speed to cover most players in the NFL, or to be a pass rusher. He might be the most technically sound player in the draft, and also one of the least athletic LBs in the draft. I could see him at best being like Gerald Hayes.

If Detroit doesn't seriously consider Curry at #1, they are doomed.

That'd be the start of a LB'ing core... Sims and Curry. Just need some big uglies to keep them free for a minute or two... which is something DET doesn't really have.

Exactly. I still dont understand why they got rid of Shaun (sp?) Rogers.

It'd be stupid if they didn't. They've drafted only one defensive player in the 1st this decade, and it's shown since they've had such a horrendous defense for a long time.

Worrell Williams is quick in short distances.

Williams is a guy I've had some interest in as an heir to Hayes' spot, but don't know enough about him.
What can you tell me, combine-wise?

Ugh. Dude is prohibited for the Sugar Bowl and now he bails part way through the Combine?!? Darren Rovell said this may have cost him $20M when it is all said and done (falling from potentially #1 overall to bottom of the first round).

Brown's dad made him a LT in sixth grade because that is where the big money is.

I was talking in the second round, if Wells and Moreno are gone. Maybe he drops even more now. But he put up some good numbers. He'll probobly do more at the pro-day. As far as him bailing, at least he showed up, that's more than McCoy did.
