Literally or figuratively?
Possibly Both. He had a look of discomfort (or disappointment) in his face after the first 40 and didn't run a second time.

Update: Apparently, he did run his second time and it was 4.53.

I really don't like this draft class the more I see of it. Fortunately we are at the bottom of the draft so our wasted picks won't be that big of a waste. Classes like this I think you look for guys who can contribute right away, because there aren't very many athletes to take on as long term projects.

Seems to be that way, right? There doesnt seem to be as many five-star guys as prior years.

I will agree that the amount of blue chip guys is down, but it does have some depth. A lot of the prospects are evenly graded.

Asher Allen - 4.47
Emmanuel Cook - 4.67
Coye Francis - 4.62
Courtney Greene - 4.54
Michael Hamlin - 4.60
Cary Harris - 4.58
Nic Harris (who should've been in the LB group) - 4.78
Macho Harris - 4.57
Brandon Hughes - 4.36!
Malcolm Jenkins - 4.55!

I said it last year, Jenkins = Rolle clone.
Shogun - You are posting conflicting sets of numbers.

For example, you have Asher Allen running a 4.47 on one post and a 4.58 on another. You have Martin at 4.48 and 4.53. Which numbers are we supposed to trust?

for corners -- I would love to see the following timed:

backpedal for 7 yards and then turn and run the remaining 33 yards.

Isnt that what NFL scouts are really looking for?

They are the first and second unofficial times of their 40. For example, Asher Allen ran a 4.47 the first time, but a 4.58 the second time.

I think it's fundamentals and a hip/feet drill more than anything. But the times would be interesting.

Vontae looked terrible in his back pedal. Just awful.

And that's what CB's need to do. We're talking high first rounders that stink at the basics!

Cary Harris = Jaison Williams of corners....?

Macho looks good in this drill.

Butler is making money.

Delmas was solid, too.

Malcolm Jenkins looks great.

Vontae struggled again.

Kevin Ellison might end up being a Cato June-type guy in the pros.

Nic Harris is clearly a LB.

Hughes doesn't look smooth.

Dominique Johnson and Delmas continue to impress.

Cook seems like he's coasting - or maybe he's just that slow....?

The next group of DBs are going to run next. Alphonso Smith and Sean Smith are in this group. I'm excited.

In case you didn't know by now, Michael Crabtree is reconsidering run his 40 on the Texas Tech pro day. He might move up the date or just take the surgery.

Say what you want about Primetime as a full-time analyst, but really he knows his DBs and offers a lot of insight on the position.

What a tool. He should have just freaking ran it at the Combine. Putting off the surgury for four more weeks would tick me off if I was a GM, since I would expect my multi-million dollar investment to be in OTAs and mini-camps.

Love Deion. Not sure how you couplent and call yourself a football fan.

I am interested in his new draft prep/training show on NFLN.

Alphonso Smith must run slow so we can pick him at 31! He MUST.

....and he ran a 4.5 flat. Not slow enough, that's expected from him. But he shot out like a cannon - I like that.

Sean Smith runs 4.47. Niiiiiice.
