I think $105 mil domestic would be disappointing. I think $300 million is the new domestic benchmark for summer blockbusters. I know of at least four movies that did that last summer. A real bet would be whether this movie could rack up $100 mil before the end of the second weekend.

Oh. My bet still stands. What's it's competition? Nothing like this. Probably hit $135 mil because no one's going on vacation. People can suddenly afford to go to movies because they can't afford to go anywhere else.

I thought pushing this back to Labor Day weekend could have made this Titanic big in opening weekend gross. Or maybe announcing a year or two back about taking July 4th from Will Smith.
