I think the Cards will go OL in round 1 and likely take OLB in round 2 as Jurecki has speculated. There are going to be some good options at 38 and one of the following 4 players will slide and likely be available. Who would be your choice/hope to be that player? All have question marks in ()
1- Demontre Moore- (workout, athletcism)
2- Sam Montgomery- (attitude)
3- Alec Ogletree-(off field)
4- Arthur Brown- (size)
My choice would be Montgomery. He brings size, skill, and athleticism to th position. He's being downgraded for being honest and saying he didn't give full effort versus lesser opponents, something most players do but won't admit.
I think arguments can be made for and against all these guys and I wouldn't be upset if any were the Cards pick at 38. Just interested to see who likes who the best and why.
Going by my eye test, the best player of the group I saw play all year was Ogletree. The games I saw him, he was better than Jones and all over the field. Watch the SEC championship and you see a high 1st round talent.
