Time for baseball season.
NICE pitch
1/2 the equation is taken care of...Hopefully we can limit the damage here, and let Tracy get his first homerun...with Hairston on base.
Yeah... I have to turn the sound off until the game comes back on... Why can't they just at least make it say commercial break with no annoying noises.Wow! Awesome pitch to get Tulowitski out!
And yes, I hear that stupid commercial thing now ...annoying!@
The attendance there is one reason why it is STUPID to open in Colorado. Use your brain, MLB - with Phx's weather, and the roof, no reason not to play the first week in April here.

Because it would make too much sense.

There's the MLB attendance for various years. Looks like the D-Backs are pretty much on par maybe a bit below most other teams not in "big time baseball towns"
Same here. I think the team has a good chance to put up a lot of wins this season and definily in the next couple years. I'm with you though, I'm a D-Backs fan whether they are winning or losing. Same with the other PHX teams. I don't jump on and off the bandwagon but I guess some people lose interest if the teams suck.Expansion teams usually don't fare well. The Dbacks used to draw a crowd, but 100+ losses will do that to your fan base. I'll be a Diamondbacks fan for the rest of my life, good or bad.
Sorry to get off topic but at least it's about baseball lol...
I'm looking at attendance numbers in recent years, and in '02 when the D-Backs were winning and came off the WS year, they were actually AHEAD of the Dodgers, Mets, Cubs, Red Sox, etc. Not far behind the Yankees. I guess Phoenix isn't such a bad baseball town as everyone makes it out to be. Almost every team's attendance numbers go down when they lose and come back up when they are winning.
lol that's hilarious. There's bandwagoners everywhere though. No offence to the true Phoenicians on this board, but Phoenix (aside from the Suns) has a large bandwagon fan base. I remember talking to a Red Sox "fan" a year ago who didn't know who Buckner was and what he was famous for.

BTW - what did Young do?
Yep I agree. I think every city has its share of true fans, fans that care and follow the team sometimes/when they can, and bandwagoners that will only support the team when they are winning. So how does a Red Sox fan being clueless relate to the D-back fans?
And realisticly, all cities are generally bandwaggoners. Hell, the Yankees drew 20,000/game before Steinbrenner bought them.
