Again, I don't get some of the coaches play calling. Why, after Niners score and take the lead, would you not have your kicker make sure he squibs it down the field to make the Packers have to field it and run a few more seconds off the clock, than do just what the Packers want to give Rogers the whole clock left with ball on the 25. It just amazes me. Am I that smart compared to so many of these players and coaches, or am I being a schmuck and thinking all wrong?

My favorite stat of the day...

SEATTLE IS 1-2
If seattle wins next week and we beat the Rams, we'll be 2 games up on both Niners and Hawks. I think we can beat the Rams because they will be over confident after their game today.

The Rams are in punishing mode and are always ready for a fight

If the Packers had lost that game it would have been one of the all time screw jobs. I don't know what game the refs were watching, like 5 or 6 absolutely putrid penalties/no calls and each one went against Green Bay.

Exactly why I don’t like all the whining our fans did about the refs today. It happens to all teams. Including the packers, a darling of the nfl. Refs are human and miss a lot and make mistakes.

For the first time in the regular season, Tom Brady threw for 400 yards with no picks and lost

Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has been playing for two decades, which makes it difficult to do things he’s never done before.

But that’s what happened on Sunday in Tampa Bay’s 34-24 loss to the Rams.

Tom Brady didn’t have a bad statistical day for his first time playing in Los Angeles. He finished 41-of-55 passing for 432 yards with a touchdown. And he also had a QB sneak go for a 1-yard score. But that was not enough for the Bucs in the 10-point loss.

And that’s part of what is so interesting. As Jenna Laine of ESPN pointed out, this is the first time in Brady’s regular-season career — one that spans 304 games — that he’s thrown for at least 400 yards, no interceptions, and lost.

Makes the Rams win even more impressive

if you are the 49ers, how do you let Devante Adams catch 2 20+ yard passes in that situation?

Combination of prevent and Aaron Rodgers is just amazing. Those throws were absolutely perfect over the top of defenders just perfect.

And they make the 66 yard FG for the win ... what a luck, lions are really ... a team that ... is cursed ...
I say their coach screwed up there. I would have put the dude with the best hops at the end line and he could have batted that ball away. Had to know if it made the distance it would be by inches. If course knowing the lions dude would have tipped the short kick through the uprights.

Yeah if it happens against us put AJ Green or Antoine Wesley back there to try and bat it down.

Is any rookie QB from this season looks like a superstar. They all look limited in many ways.
People around here and many national pundits were giving Matt Nagy a hard time for not starting the rook.

After yesterday I personally thinking shows Nagy was right. Fields just isn’t ready. He lead that team to 43 yards of total offense. That’s beyond pathetic rookie or not. No way it’s THAT BAD with the red rifle at the helm.

He's just another NFL crappy, overrated, Ohio St QB.

How many of you know Chicago Bears had one 1 yard of net passing yard yesterday? ONE YARD OF PASSING FROM OFFENSE IN 2021.

And

Matt Nagy still has a job.

Talk about injustice in NFL world for talented people aspiring for head coaching jobs. Will Matt Nagy even be an offensive coordinator in NFL if he was not hugging Reid's nuts?

The rumors were Nagy never wanting Fields.

All the reason for Nagy to not be a head coach of Bears for another day. Nagy has no right ruin a young man's career if he is not 100% in to help the offense.

Let's check with Foles on what he thinks of Nagy's offense:
