The rumors were Nagy never wanting Fields.
Well he’s was proven right yesterday that Fields wasn’t ready. No way in Heck does that offense net only 43 yards for entire game with the red rifle back there. Fields has no business starting at this point.

Matt Nagy still has a job.

Talk about injustice in NFL world for talented people aspiring for head coaching jobs. Will Matt Nagy even be an offensive coordinator in NFL if he was not hugging Reid's nuts?
funny

from a resume POV -- when he was hired he was considered a hot prospect

Did Nagy "scheme" to make that point? There was not one boot leg, roll out and moving the entire line to one side to cut the field in half for a rookie QB. Not ONE

How many of you know Chicago Bears had one 1 yard of net passing yard yesterday? ONE YARD OF PASSING FROM OFFENSE IN 2021.

And

Matt Nagy still has a job.

Bears had 68 yards passing but 9 sacks that lost 67 yards or something like that. 9th worst offensive performance in nfl history and we thought Wilkes\McCoy was bad in 2018

People around here and many national pundits were giving Matt Nagy a hard time for not starting the rook.

After yesterday I personally thinking shows Nagy was right. Fields just isn’t ready. He lead that team to 43 yards of total offense. That’s beyond pathetic rookie or not. No way it’s THAT BAD with the red rifle at the helm.
Even my 11 year old - a rabid bears fan to my dismay - who has been clamoring for fields to start now understands why rookies don’t start right away. And he doesn’t do well admitting when he’s wrong. Because he’s 11. And stubborn.

Tried to tell him that when I was at your place in pre-season. Sometimes, kids just have to learn the hard way.

Also, now I know not to buy him an autographed picture of Fields for Xmas, unless he wants to start a collection of terrible Bear QBs signed pictures, right next to the one of Trubisky I got him three years ago.

Lol. It’s still hanging. That could be an epic collection. Imagine if you started that with cardinals QBs dating back to ‘88. What a display that would be!

All the reason for Nagy to not be a head coach of Bears for another day. Nagy has no right ruin a young man's career if he is not 100% in to help the offense.
Fields is far from a perfect. There were quite a few draft analysts that doubt whether Fields will ever be a good NFL QB. He gets a lot of the same criticisms that Dwayne Haskins gets: played in a system that gets wide receivers wide open and he doesn't regularly make NFL throws. So Fields has always been a projection based on athletic ability and arm talent.

Imagine the collection of Stan Gelbaugh, Jay Schroeder, Kent Graham, Dave Brown, Navarre, Brian St. Pierre, Skelton....OMG I'm getting sick to my stomach thinking about the many years of AWFUL QBs we've seen with the Cardinals.

It would be a tremendous wall though. I true testament to a fan’s intestinal fortitude.

Niners are a menace. They are neither good nor bad.
Me predicting 9ers as a menace in September. They are indeed and no one wants to play them. Rodgers is a worried man right now in Green Bay.

I know where Green Bay is located. We just suck at home.

So you can locate it on a map, presumably, have some idea as to the weather in late January, know that Aaron Rodgers is their QB and yet would still prefer going there than playing a team we've beaten twice at home?

Yes.. Cause we suck at home lol. We had a chance to clinch the playoffs and failed at home. We had a chance to win the division and failed at home. Their focus and play is not there at home.

I was born in Rochester, NY. Its not that serious. Throw on long sleeves to play, put a jacket and sit by the heaters on the sideline. Its probably just going to be 10-20F. When it gets to 30F here at night I am walking around in shorts outside.

These guys are pros.. They can handle it.. Lets get through these next two games and discuss it later lol.
