Kyler on his atrocious momentum killing fumble at the end of the half:

“It's unfortunate," Murray said. "I haven't usually fumbled in my career at all, and then the kid made a good play."

Yeah… F this guy. How about you say:

“Sane thing happened the last time I played Seattle and it cost us points. I HAVE to protect that better.”

For a guy who screams and dishes out accountability to other teammates and coaches, making scenes on the sidelines, take SOME ACCOUNTABILITY for your own mistakes. ONCE. Then I’d believe he can ever actually get better.

Guy made a good play on it… ****. Guy barley touched the ball but you fumbled it away because you carry it like a loaf of bread.
Did you see him yelling back and forth with Hop during the game?? Hop got frustrated and walked away. You could see it on Hop's face. This guy is "acting the fool". Kyler hasn't earned the right to ride other players the way he makes mistakes.

Hey Look! Kyler finds another opportunity to throw a teammate under the bus:

“Another great playcall that should've rescued a third-and-long came in the third quarter. Needing 17 for a first down, Murray threw left to wide receiver Greg Dortch, who threw back cross-field to running back James Conner, who gained 18 yards. One problem: Both passes were forward. Murray said Dortch's toss was supposed to be the lateral.”

He had the same losing college coach running the team in his first 2.5 seasons while he was progressing.
There's a certain level of development that will happen regardless of who's coaching.

You just get used to playing at the level, playing with your team mates, getting to know the opposition, more confident with the speed of the game, fitter, stronger etc.

We hit a plateau midway through last season. The nuances required to go to the next level - timing of throws, footwork, reading the defense, expanding playbook, selling misdirection, leadership etc - aren't there.

I'm not convinced anyone down there actually knows what a top quality QB needs to do. We were happy with what he's dished up so far and how he's been developing, hence the contract.

So Kyler doesn't know how to go up a level and we don't know how to teach him. Blind leading the blind.
I feel like this is true. It seems like no one had a clue what Warner was doing in 08 and with Palmer only BA knew what it took. Warner dragged this franchise from the ashes. Keim and KK surely have no idea what it takes to be a top 5 QB in the NFL.

This is the very obvious objective truth. Kyler Murray has never received NFL level quarterback or offensive coaching in his career. He graduated from college to the NFL and the Cardinals kept him in college by hiring Kliff Kingsbury. And he has his clueless father telling him things too. He will not advance further without a quality structure put in place around him for him to operate within. And you committed yourself to him for 5 years. You do anything you possibly can to persuade a quality NFL coach to come here next year.

I have yet to hear him say “I” need to be better. Everything is “WE” have to be better.

I seriously can’t wait for Hardknocks. No ducking and dodging this atrocity folks. Cameras are rolling, recording, and relaying to the world who you are.

Right. How about:

“I haven't usually fumbled in my career at all, but I can’t fumble the ball there.”

The best hold THEMSELVES accountable. Especially when they make the same killer mistake multiple times. I mean, that was the EXACT SAME PLAY basically that he fumbled against the EXACT SAME TEAM.

The fact that he doesn’t recognize that or is loathe to admit it says so much about who he is… and sadly isn’t.

So when you are in his workout and film sessions with him, where do you think he's not spending enough time? Oh, you say you aren't in there with him so you have no idea what his work ethic is? Gotcha.

Just because someone has regressed doesn't mean they aren't working.
Generally it does or it means they aren't working on the right things.

I love that we are back to the "yOu DoN't ReAlLy KnOw" defense that most were subjected to this past offseason when criticism was voiced.

Saw how well that played out.

Yeah. No self awareness. He isn't the problem, everyone else is.

Just the fact that in Year 3 when he gave that interview (!) our organisation had allowed that mindset to develop.

No one had hit him between the eyes with some actual truth.

Sure, you've got some talent but that will only get you so far. Other teams will work you out if you stand still. What you really need to do to become a top shelf QB in this league is X, Y and Z.

I'm not convinced anyone down there actually knows what a top quality QB needs to do. We were happy with what he's dished up so far and how he's been developing, hence the contract.

I’m like 70% sure this is what Tom Clements was supposed to teach Kyler his rookie season and he retired rather than have to do it again.

I mean yeah, Dortches throw was supposed to be the lateral.. We were in shotgun... Kyler through the ball like 4 yards forward to Dortch.

Mallick Willis went into Arrowhead and almost lead the Titans to a win. He showed better poise and leadership than Kyler Murray in year 4. Leadership can’t be taught.

This is parody, right? 5/16 for 80 yds. The best thing he did all night was hand the ball to Derrick Henry. Defense played very well.

You've got to be honest with yourself...which QB's are playing worse than KM right now?
PJ Walker?
Sam Ehlinger?
That's all I've got.
Aaron Rodgers lol, watching all the pre snap penalties today in our game and the pressure just smoke Murray on several occasions it’s funny that people think a QB could excel behind this trash, oh and Zero running game besides himself until late when they let Connor bleed the clock for them a little hah

Well seeing
at this point kliff needs to go because he can't get enough out of Kyler, whom is paid 1/4 billion dollars. IDK who the hell the coach is who can get more out of the kid, but we need to try.
Well seeing as Kliff is probably one of if not the worst in the league, yeah it’s worth the try lol…

I wouldn't expect anything Earth shattering. I heard on the radio that each team featured on the show does have some editorial control. Whatever that means.

Huh? That makes no sense. Who are "these people"? Are you talking about guys paid to give their opinion? So what? I am looking at hard facts and stats that say otherwise. You could be a talking head. Again, answer my original questions. How many #1 picks with this sample size are doing the things that Kyler does with this sample size that end up being great? Again, I didn't say he sucked. I am simply arguing he will be a Tier 2 QB and never a Mahomes, Brady, etc.... In other words...good but not great.
Ok let’s flip it up, tell me which QBs taken #1 took an absolutely pathetic at the time situation with an unproven college coach and managed to even for a slight time a winning feeling an win more games year after year. It’s all BS because not sure anyone e er took a QB #1 and then saddled him with a rookie totally unproven coach, that has now proven his system is garbage in the NFL but sure let’s lay all the blame on the kid. Lots of QBs take awhile to learn the NFL game, what sucks is our idiot coach doesn’t teach an NFL game so Kyler is still behind… The only move is to bring in a proven NFL coach and see if the situation can be salvaged…
