In 2010, we had an extra ticket to the Packers playoff game and couldn't give the thing away.

It is because fans of any team can make scheduling plans or flight plans months ahead for a regular season game when they know the schedule way ahead of time. The playoff schedules are known barely a week before so it is not as easy to change work schedules or make last minute flight plans. That is why in the 2009/2010 season there were a ton of Packer fans at the regular season game at the end of the season and so few at the playoff game. It will be the same thing this time around because so many of the Packer fans who attend the regular season game come in from California and can not make a last minute trip on such short notice.

Couldn't give it away to any fans, not just Packers fans. Uppers were being offered for $10 that day. No one was buying.

I had a co-worker tell me he'd rather sit in his house and watch the game on his TV (instead of taking my free ticket / $60 face value). He has since retired, but I remind him of the game being the NFL's highest-scoring playoff game whenever I see him.

I have a friend who just called me and said some insurance agency who has season tickets called and asked if he wanted them.... he's a freaking PACKER FAN.... so he got free tickets, not only that they're in club level, like $250 apiece!!

I'm bitter.

Go slash his tires on gameday. He won't be able to go and the insurance company will have to pay out for their treachery!

I sold last game...not this one!
Reminds me of the year we played the Packers on the last home game of the season AND again the following week in the playoffs.
Packer fans were everywhere for the reg. season game. NONE for the playoff game.
I expect to see the same.

Tommy Loys band?

No - Tommy just played the Star Spangled Banner. We were the band that sat in the stands and were piped in over the PA system.

We worked closely with the Cheerleaders (not THAT closely if yaknowwhatImean), but were replaced by recorded music once Jerry Jones bought the team.

Obviously you are unaware that Babedi Mancheff was the hottest, most masculine formula 1 driver in the early-late/middle/late-early 70's.

The dude had more ropes than Run DMC, and more chest hair than Magnum PI.

I think I may just have a phot....ah yes. Here it is.

Geez...what did the English language ever do to you?

Oh dear Lord. Clete Blakeman is the ref for our game. Home team only wins 36% of his games this season. He was our ref in Seattle and you can see their complaints about hi job in that first game...

Still, he only reffed what I consider one upset (Ravens over Steelers). The rest of the games he did had expected outcomes.

While it wasn't AS bad, it is one helluva stretch to say 'NONE' for the playoff game. There were still a ton there.

Show him a picture of your granddaughter and tell him you have a terrible disease and want to have one last grandpa-granddaughter outing. Sound weak and cough a lot and remind him that you'd give him a kidney if he needed it and you didn't have a terrible disease.

From which you will have a miraculous recovery on the 17th. Yay. Happy ending!

Does anyone know if they are leaving the extra seating from the National champ game up for this game?

This. GB fans can't be too positive about the outcome of this one for them. Even though anything can happen, but not much (if any) personal for either team has changed

Plus they had months in advance to plan a trip over the Holidays to go to the first game
