He's trying to quit on me & the fans including you Duck!!! If he's that much of a prima donna...screw him!!! DD hasn't been very productive the last 2 years anyway IMO, regardless if he's tying up blockers.

IMO people show their true colors in times of adversity! 9-0 is showing his

sorry, what you wrote is backwards.... it's 0-9 since the last win...:D

I thought the fine was $100k? Oh well if DD wants out by all means grant his wish. We won't get of this mess with that type of attitude.

No way. He signed a contract he abides by it. What were to happen if say Fitz started pulling this card. This trade me or I'm taking my ball crap is nonsense.

He will be more trouble staying. Fitz has too much character to not play all out no matter what. Besides Dockett has played his best football.

Have you watched Fitz the last 5-6 games? The guy is giving less than a stellar effort & did today as well.

I'm just pissed that we are about to lose another talented player because of Whis. I'm comforted by the fact that if we do trade him and Whis stays, Dockett will be replaced with a 5'9" 220lb DT from Presbyterian State in the 6th round of the draft. Of course, he will trade up to get him, but dammit that kid has character. He's a football player!

You got it backwards. He's in trouble because he didn't want to quit. :D

Some of you guys are just too quick to turn on our long time veteran players. Hasn't been productive the last two years?! We have had the best defense in Arizona since 1994 the last season in a half.

And yet either team could barely score offensively ;)

Dockett plays on offense? Our offense has been pasthetic but until today there is no way you can claim players on our defense have been under performing and be correct. Just last week everyone was talking about the heart the D was showing by not giving up in spite of the woeful offense and now you don't care if one of our veteran defensive players leaves town?

Well losing a 9th game in a row 58-0 will do that to fans.

Fitz not having a great season but this crap will affect everyone. He is not causing trouble and will help lead us out of this. Keeping Dockett if he truly wants to leave will hurt more than help.

Yeah just about all of this is the fiasco that was Lindley. Any coach would have known he was way in over his head by the Rams game. It all came to a head in the Jets game, and now this one is just everyone saying....I'm not getting hurt over this ****! It's not worth it.

The lack of leadership let the players down. Big time. You can't just keep going with something that's a joke and every player knows it except seemingly the coach.

Actually we'll drop DD and use our first rounder on a defensive linemen. Did it with Leonard Davis (Levi Brown) and DRC (PP7).

Players are a tight knit group. I think everthing that went down last week with Dockett was the last straw of "accountability".

I think the players kindof said "Count this" as they held up 1 finger.

Q played at Florida State. Got him in the second round.

Don't see the corollation to the point he is making.

I have to agree with him, I am sick and tired of this drafting crap. Fordham, San Diego State, St. Paul's College, Richmond, Presbyterian, etc.

I want players from big time programs. Draft from the SEC. Big time colleges.

The best situation is to fix it so Dockett doesn't want to leave. Making a move that convinces the guys on defense that changes are going to be made so that no longer will it happen that despite their best efforts the Cards lose 8 games in a row.

We're a player or two away from being an elite defense. One that just dominates offenses not just bend but not break and block FGs. To tear it up would be another 2 steps forward 5 steps back that has been the hallmark of the Cardinals franchise for most of the last 50 years.

This is why we need a GM a NEW FREAKING GM.

This is an unmitigated mess, caused by not having a strong GM, a GM who can sort this stuff out himself.

It's open mutiny season, Horton brings the hammer down on the guy and he freaks out, he disobeys an order then is rumored to do whatever, is fined for it then wants traded.

This is a disaster, then the team quits on both Horton and Whiz, now a good defensive player wants traded.

To me the only fix is to get a new GM and let them start building over, this is a cluster.

And, funny thing, Jurecki - who has a radio show that depends on ratings - is the guy to start the story that Dockett is unhappy. And the message boards light up. I'm very sure he'll tell us more tomorrow. Right after that word from his sponsor.

Jurecki is damn good and has one of the better Cardinals related shows on. And he is a hell of a lot more accurate than Gambo and Burns.its going to be real interesting to see how Wolfley spins this mess into a pro Whisenhunt way though.

I was laughing because he's was right - I was agreeing with him that they would attempt to trade DD for picks who would turn out to be some scrub with potential.

Then I pointed out it worked out with the Q trade in tabbing Andre Roberts out of Citadel - amazingly a 1/500 shot at success.

Just to clarify. Not saying that they could duplicate it again or anything, doubtful.

Very good point. That was Denny Green's drafting philosophy. And who were the players that went to the SB? Mostly Denny Green's guys.
