David Lee got MVP at the Chicago camp. He reminds me a little bit of Jackson Vroman :) Decent scorer (13), good rebounder (9), solid passer (2.2), more of a theft (1) than a shotblocker (.8)... what did everybody think of Jackson Vroman? I sort of liked Vroman, actually and Lampe but like Vroman - Lee wouldn't be that high on rotation but Lampe and Vroman were always available for decent minutes here and there. Vroman really ran the court well, could rebound, and in College was too a good passer and theft... Lee is sort of a Lampe/Vroman packaged in one at 6'10. Although I might need to check how he measured...

I do think I'd prefer, to see if 1 of the top ranked bigs drop and if not, Draft a swing (Garcia possibly) that could get minutes in rotation but Lee had a promising start in College at McDonalds...

Lee does seem to be getting some positive reviews, although it is hard to know if it is legit or just a function of starting from the bubble. If he was being given mid first round consideration, we'd probably hear more negitives.

I still say that if Diogu's measurements hold up or held up at Chicago he will be gone by the time the Phoenix Suns pick at 21. NBADraft.net just updated their mock draft, and they have him going to the Suns. Rumor is Memphis is trying to unload their draft pick for a veteran and/or money. If the Suns could send to a veteran like Jake Voskuhl plus some cash for the 19 pick and end up with Garcia and Diogu out of this draft they would be in great shape going into free agency. Remember that these two players are college veterans who were extremely productive in their college careers.

That would be an amazing draft. Like you said though, if Ike's measurements hold he will be gone before we pick.

Garcia and Diogu will become quality NBA players, IMO.
Getting of both this year would be a slam dunk.

I seriously think that with Diogu and Garcia the Suns' bench would immedietaly qualify for one of the better second units in NBA.

I wouldn't be horribly upset if Garcia was drafted, but that would put a lot more pressure on the team to find inside help through free agency.

If Ike and Simien are gone at 21 , I'd be open to trading down. The best option is probably trading 21 and 57 for the Jazz's 27, 34, and 51.

I would be horribly upset if the Suns draft Garcia. The guy just looks too fragile and he has had a history of experiencing fatigue. No way should he be considered.

I do think the Jazz could be good trading partners in several different scenerios, especially if they are focused on signing a FA point guard like Dickau. Then they can address other needs.
