On the USA Network, anyone else enjoy this show?

With the amount of Sports I watch during the week, I find myself cutting back on quite a bit of 'other' television. However, there are a couple of shows I still like to watch (Office, CSI).

The show debuted last summer as a 'filler' with 7 episodes, then came back this January for another 8 or so episodes. But, unfortunately, the season finale is already today...?

If you haven't watched this show, do yourself a favor and Tivo an episode to watch when you have some time. This show is great; mostly clean humor, situational comedy. HOWEVER, the thing that makes the show work is the amazing comedic timing of the two lead actors... it is brilliant! I haven't seen a duo work so well off each other, since ... Martin Riggs and Roger Murtaugh, maybe? (just the first 2 Lethal Weapon movies, by the third, it was just corny). The two guys, Dule Hill and James Roday, who I had never seen or heard of before, are just excellent together. I am very disappointed that this show doesn't release more episodes.

They're only posts. Never started a thread on the show.

Glad someone else really likes it.

My wife and I watch it every week that it's on. I just wish there were going to be more episodes. Tonight is already the season finale.

Great chemistry between Sean and Gus. Corbin is great as the dad. Lassie and his partner, the chief, etc.

this show is hilarious - absolutely funny. haven't missed a show yet.

the seasons seem to run shorter on the USA Network - I can't believe it is already over. I guess the new episodes will be starting in July. Can't wait.

This show is in my top 3.

The finale was freakin funny. Especially when they went running out of the house.

And the little bit of extra show they put in at the credits is great.

All of the actors just work so well off each other. Especially the Dad.

Psych and Monk have saved friday night TV for me.

Watched my first episode today, too. I'm going to have to start watching it more. Cheesey and over the top but in a good way.

Coming back next Friday... SWEET.

Again, I am sorry for mispelling the title of this thread. Can a Mod change it to read, "Psych"?

Awesome!

Very witty dialogue and banter in this show. One of my faves and highly underrated.

Glad to see it's coming back next week!

I really like this show. It's a 'safe' show ,too, as far as language, sex and violence goes. I think it goes great with Monk. USA will probably screw it up, tho, and change one of 'em to another night and ruin one of the shows.....lol

Not too impressed with the season debut. Hope they aren't trying to mess with the chemistry of the show. It seemed that they didn't want to show much of the "fake" psychic stuff. IMO, what makes the show clever is the deductive skill he employs in solving tough cases and masks it as psychic insight. What makes the show great is the relationship with him and Gus. Last night, they seemed to have enough of the second, but very little of the first.

:stupid: Also, are they dumbing down the Lassiter character?

The premiere episode was written by James Roday (aka Shawn Spencer). He also wrote last season's "Scary Sherry: Bianca's Toast" episode.

Hopefully tonight's episode has more of the fake psychic stuff and butting heads with Lassie.

Premiere was still great. Loved Tim Curry.
