I agree...at worst he would be fantastic depth behind Pugh and Iupati for a yearYea, who wants an All-Pro guard....
shoot the Cards are stacked at the O line as it is (sarcasm)
and to those referring to the 'bullying'....maybe you didn't see Jonathan Martin... he so called bullied posted a picture of a gun and bullets stating he was going to shoot up his old school and he had a list of people he was going to kill.
Martin couldn't hack it at in the NFL and Richie's been nothing but an All pro player almost every season he's played.
His teammates say he's awesome to play with and ever since the incident he donates time and money to bullying organizations.
Yea, Keim would be wise to pick him up when you have Aaron Donald and Suh (both will be on the Rams O line) coming at your QB...or is the old 'bullying' too much for ya?
They'd be fools to not protect Bradford with Richie....Iupati has one leg and both arms in retirement...and he hasn't produced in 2 and a half years..... but let's bet on him coming back from his injuries and wanting to quit....Iupati is cashing a paycheck this year....and if you can't see that you're blind. He'll be on IR by week 3.
If you can get Richie on a 2 year performance deal...you sign him immediately
Yea, who wants an All-Pro guard....
An ABOVE AVERAGE Run Blocker AND
An ABOVE AVERAGE Pass Blocker!!!

Rated 12th best guard in the league...yea who needs him

Martin couldn't hack it at in the NFL and Richie's been nothing but an All pro player almost every season he's played. Martin got chance after chance after chance in the NFL and every time left the teams crying. Shoot he walked away from two teams...he failed to show up practice and went AWOL and both teams cut him. The players who played with him said he not a good teammate.
Richie's teammates in Buffalo say he's awesome to play with and ever since the incident he donates time and money to bullying organizations...even the Miami players Richie played with said he was awesome to play with.
So to summarize....no one like Martin and everyone liked Richie...except Martin.

It's not bullying, it's that he's insane on the field and off. He has plenty of well-documented issues with character in-game, and he's the kind of guy who runs out, fires his agent on a whim, and then says his organs are failing... but now he wants to play again?
No man, sorry. Martin's messed up in the head but so is Incognito.
okay, where on the field is he 'insane' as you say?
He's one of the best guards in the game...and AGAIN the Cardinals are about to have Suh and Donald coming every snap after Bradford or Rosen....and you want Iupati and who protecting him....
OR you take an ALL PRO guard who pushed Suh around every time he played him.
At least with Pugh, Richie, DJ and Smith you can move the front and control the line.
DJ is a risk and so is the center....if one player goes down the line is swiss cheese.
You telling me if they offer Richie a $4mill 2 year deal that could go to 6 mill per season based on incentives (pro bowl, pancake blocks, qb sacks, etc) you wouldn't take him?
now what's your take

Let's take some selections from his Wikipedia page, ignoring the Jonathan Martin incident:
On October 17, Incognito was fined three times for a total of $35,000 after the game versus the Washington Redskins.[18] His violations during the game included repeatedly berating an official, a "major face mask" on a field goal attempt, and a chop block. The last penalty was not called during the game, but was detected on a video review. Incognito's behavior nearly led to a loss after he was called for a 15-yard personal foul penalty before the eventual game-winning field goal.
--------
On December 13, during the first half of a 47–7 loss to the Tennessee Titans, Incognito drew two 15-yard penalties for headbutting Titans players. Head coach Steve Spagnuolo benched him for the second half, and the two got into a heated confrontation on the sidelines. It was the second time Incognito had been benched for losing his composure; he had been pulled from the season opener against Seattle for two personal fouls. However, the Titans incident was the last straw; the Rams waived him two days after the game.[21] In 2013, former Rams general manager Billy Devaney told ESPN that Spagnuolo had given Incognito numerous chances to clean up his act, and had put him on notice that the Rams would cut ties with him if he couldn't control his anger.[22]
The two personal fouls led to a $50,000 fine from the NFL and a letter from the league office warning him that "future infractions of the types you have committed may lead to increased disciplinary action up to and including suspension."[23] In four years with the Rams from 2006 to 2009, Incognito drew 38 penalties, including seven unnecessary roughness calls, more than any other player during that span.[17]
------
A day after the Bills lost 3–10 against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC Wild Card round, Incognito was accused by Jaguars' defensive end Yannick Ngakoue of using racial slurs against him during the game.[36]
No, still, no thanks. He's also a 34 year old who claimed his organs were failing.
This. He is well known for stomping on players & just general dirty play. Yes, he would be great against Suh & Donald. I would rather not have him near my team. I'm pretty sure Keim, Wilks, & Bidwill agrees.
I have no idea how anyone can overlook true racism and conduct hugely detrimental to his team on the field. Especially given that Iupati is 3 years younger than him.
Does the organ failure stuff mean nothing to anyone? A full year suspension for a major character issue? Being the most penalized player in the league over multiple years?
This guy is scum. How is he being given a pass but we had hundreds of comments about Christian Kirk throwing rocks at cars?
Other than Martin, have you heard any teammates speak poorly of him? I recall, during the Martin incident, teammates coming to his defense...and since, Martin has proven himself to be mentally unstable, at the very least. Seems to me, to be one of those players you love to root against, until he's on your team. Heck, this off-season, many were clamoring for the Cards to make a run at Suh, and he's just as dirty.
As for Kirk...I'm not ready to condemn that kid, either.
