I am just starting this game. I am such a noob. I have finished the Solo Tour on Easy and now just starting the Medium. I am struggling a bit with the 4th new button (blue) but I am getting much better.

I am dreading using all the strum keys though. I went through the lessons and I was horrid when I had to use them all. I am having a blast though.

There are a bunch of download song available now. Has anybody checked them out or recommend any particular ones?

The only ones that I have downloaded so far is My Cherona (fun to play on both instruments) and Fortunate Son which is fun as well.

No.

I know this is probably lame but it's technically a X-Mas present. There was just no place to hide it. I had to negotiate with my wife. I convinced her to let me break out the Guitar but I can't touch the drums or mic until X-MAS.

OK, now made it through Medium on Solo Band Tour. Hard is kicking my !@#$@!#$. I have only made it threw of few songs. 4 Keys might be my limit.

At any rate I will keep plugging away. I just caved and my wife got a bunch of new furniture. So I am freaking breaking out the Mic and Drums sometime this weekend.

If you guys will be online at any point, let me know. I will have to look for you and get some online jamming going.

Just started medium guitar....got a blister on my thumb now


Question: In a band, you eventually reach a point where it says you have to play at a harder level to get more fans, if there are two in the band, do both players need to play medium, or can one play medium and one play easy?

Absolutely. Linder and I are at that point right now. She has to go up to medium on the guitar, or we will not gain any more fans. We did not gain any when I played medium and she played easy. It is right about the time when you get the tour bus.

I'm ok on medium guitar....except on some songs, but apparently my bandmate will have to move to medium drums.

I went to Guitar Center and bought a heavier pair so that I don't have to hit the pads as hard. I can't whail out like I can normally though with the lighter ones, afraid I will break something.
