Dbacks having a big blue up in the fourth. Walk's the pitcher to load the bases, then walks in a run.

Cheese and Crackers man...

If this score holds the mighty Rockies pitching staff, which is not good, will have held the Dbats to 3 runs at home in 3 games. At home!!! In our "hitters ballpark" that certainly nobody else is finding it difficult to hit in right now.

Talk about firing on no cylinders. The level at which this team is underachieving thus far is astounding.

6 games in chase field for the Rockies this season so far: 38 runs. No that is not a typo

5of6 of those games have been against our 1,2,3 starters...

That IS bad, but they do have some hitters on that team. They seem to always collapse later in the season.

Goldy looks at strike 3. Man, we need to get something going soon.

Goldy 0 for 3 with two really bad K's... He looks soooo lost at the plate. He's killing us. Drury led off the 6th with a smash base hit and then Goldy goes down looking... Geeeeezzzz this is bad.

I'm telling you guys, nothing is wrong with him. IMO you all are ridiculously over analyzing it and putting way too much weight in batting average. If he was hitting .290 but with a .330 batting average I suspect many of you would feel he was hitting really well when in fact those numbers are significantly worse than what he is currently doing.

Wow I'm so sorry that any of us had the audacity to disagree with you Phraz. Jeez guy.

It's funny that you keep talking like were such idiots and being so myopic, the only thing you are basing your "he's fine" argument on is OPS which is completely skewed by his walks right now.

How is he "fine?" If his stats continue at their current pace here is how he will wind up at the end of the season.

126 Hits
12 Doubles
162 Strikeouts
150 Walks
36 HRs
96 RBIs

Which one of those stats is getting him into the all star game? It's not ike we're all just morons and haters and Goldie is playing great. Meanwhile he continues to strike out a minimum of once a game, he's not getting singles or doubles, he's not driving in runs, but he's walking and hitting the occasional homerun and that means he's fine in your book. He looks nothing like his usual self except for getting walks.

I don't care what his batting average is I care about him getting hits that drive in runs, not just solo HRs and walks. That's not what we need from our GOLDY!!!!

Not only that, he's consistently striking out in key RBI situations, which is the most out of character thing he's been doing. The Rockies finally figured out there is no need to walk him right now.

40 runs for the Rockies in 6 games at Chase... to 25 for the Dbacks and that includes an 11 run game 2 of the season.

The whole team is in funkytown. :( The really sad thing is that while we are miraculously still in the mix, if we had even played semi well we could have a few game lead in the division right now.

Incredible... 2nd and 3rd and no outs. Drury strikes out and then Goldy walks... Base loaded and 1 out. Peralta strikes out and then Tomas strikes out. Are you kidding me???? This team has absolutely zero mojo. Nothing positive at all... Wow...

I turned off the TV I'm like that's it, I'm done for the day...

Thank god tomorrow is an off day and then a long road trip after that. I hope all these guys get laid or do whatever they need to do to get out of this funk.

We just went 3-7 on a 10 game home stand after sweeping the Giants... Bad pitching, bad hitting, idk what to say about these guys.

Could just be a bad mix of players... Bad chemistry. No complimentary mojo... No ham and egg ability. We get good starting pitching and the bats go to bed. Then our pitching goes to crap and we got nothing to offer in the way of help. We can't convert consistently enough with runners in scoring position... We give up big hits in key situations... Our hitters strikeout way too often in key at bats... The Giants sweep was clearly a fluke... Don't know what it will take to turn it around. But clearly we can't win consistently with Goldy remaining on Mars, and Miller, Corbin and Ray unable to pitch past the 4th inning...

Bottom 9, two down and runners at first and second... Down by three and Castillo at the plate... Quickly works the count to 0 & 2. And of course he goes down swinging... So bad. Bro ugly... First time the Rockies have swept us at home since 2004!!!

I am afraid that my boy Chip is over managing. I have never liked the concept of position players coming to the ballpark and half of them not knowing if they're playing and, if so, where they're playing.

Pick a rotation of 8 lead position players plus standard backups and let it gel.

The gimmick of Drury starting at any one of four positions is going to wear thin and detract from his potential.

The expected performance of Ahmed and his sub-.200 batting average is killing the team. He is a career Minor League hitter.

Move Segura to SS, his natural position, and leave him there. He is a good fielding SS. Make Drury the everyday 2B. Even Peralta doesn't know for sure if he is a full-time RF or part-time CF.

That peace of mind will help the position players. It will help the young players. And their peace of mind will help the starting rotation.

'Disagree with that? Well, then, just look at the results. Our guys know how to hit, but that doesn't translate into hitting to win games. Our clutch hitting sucks!

Miller sucks.

Thank you for your time.
And the trade wasnt a spur of the moment decision. The Dbacks pursued him for months and paid a kings ransom for the guy.

Rockies pitching is the worst in the league and we could only score 5 runs against them? LOL this team looked so good in spring training, they have looked EXTREMELY mediocre this season and its incredibly disappointing.
