[B]It is about time that all the players on our team Fire Drew Rosenhous...!!!

Darnell and "Q" should not be mad at the Cardinal Organization but rather at Mr. Drew "I will Screw You as long as I get mine" Rosenhous. He is the one who got them their supposed Great Contracts Years Back. I remember How "Q" was boasting about his new deal back then. Rosenhous has made both Darnell and "Q" look like cry babies to all of us who really loved them.

Just looked at "Q's" expression on his face plus his body language. What a punk...!!! Due to both of their behaviors I would make them both sit on the bench for the next 2 seasons, unless their attitude changes.

NO PLAYER IS EVER BIGGER THAN THE TEAM OR THE ORGAINZATION...!!!

That font is the true enemy.
Funny - I was going to say I liked it. (It could be a couple of points smaller, though).

What's put me over the edge was D. Urban's report that Dockett was trying to negotiate a new contract roughly one year after he originally signed it.

I can understand D-Square feeling that he's now being underpaid after having a better-than-expected post season. But that's what incentive-clauses are for. Rosenhaus isn't stupid - I can see him advising both Dockett and Boldin - "Don't worry about incentive clauses now; because we can always rip up this contract and do a new one later.

If his agent didn't include those clauses, then Dockett should fire him.

No doubt, Cardinal ownership is culpable. Cardinal management is culpable. Rosenhaus is super-culpable. But both Dockett and Boldin are beginning to tire me out - they're coming across as me-guys who are acting like they actually won the Super Bowl. They are way too selfish by at least one year.

From the standpoint of one fan (of 60+ years), listening to this contract crap is beginning to make following the Cardinals "no longer fun." (If I feel that way, imagine how many other Cardinal fans are feeling right now. This is not a good way to build a franchise).

On September 13th at 1:15 PM (local time), all of this will be forgotten.

you're right. agents never should have entered into sports and gotten the players, who do all the dirty work and end up crippled later in life, a bigger chunk of change from the owners. you can argue it was the union that accomplished this, but in reality originally it was agents negotiating proper deals for players who just arent' equipped to sit down at the board table and negotiate with businessmen. you don't have to think anything good of rosenhaus, but don't be duped into thinking that quan, docket, et al. have no idea what their doing or are brainwashed by their agents. they want money and they know who will get it for them. i just think you should direct your venom where it's actually deserved . . . the players with the hammie injuries.

If I was a player who needed an agent I would call the best player at the position I played like Kurt Warner if I played QB, and I would use their agent.

would you call the best player at the position or the highest paid player at the position b/c they are not necessarily going to be the same.

Spoken like a true lawyer. :D In all seriousness, the financial aspect of all of this definitely takes a bit of the fun out of it. For the most part, it always is the super rich players and the super rich owners fighting over who will be more rich.

there are two analogies i'd throw out there . . .

1. no doubt there are bad attorneys. they are sanctioned by the state bar all the time. that said, there would be many less lawsuits if people weren't looking to sue everyone else for everything that happens to them all the time. i cannot tell you how often friends of mine approach me asking me if they can sue for this and that and i have to laugh and tell them they have no case. yes, there are likely some shyster attorneys that would take their cases, but even those bad attorneys wouldn't have a case without the people wanting to sue.

2. no doubt there are guns that have manufacturing defects that may cause them to misfire and hurt people/damage property. but by and large it is still the user that determines how the gun is used. outside of the defective weapon, it takes an individual wielding the weapon to cause damage.

and yes, i recognize i'm taking this to a ridiculous end, but ultimately rosenhaus would have no effect on the nfl or the cardinals if he wasn't hired by the quans and docketts of the world to do what he does.

Moral in all this legal talk: Don't mess with Jewish Jesuit-trained lawyers. They've got all the right mojo in their favor.

One way or another, God is on their side;
The State issues their license to steal;
They get to police themselves;
They get paid before all other claimants.

Ouchie-Z I'd probably pick my favorite player at the position I played and ask for his advice, which is why I said Kurt Warner.

Hey Nutt, did you notice how many of those guys have changed teams? he's all about the Bens, and the Players know this, that's why he is hired. I have no prob with Drew, but as soon as I hear a player has hired him, I know that team is in trouble.

Moral in all this legal talk: Don't mess with Jewish Jesuit-trained lawyers. They've got all the right mojo in their favor.

One way or another, God is on their side; okay, funny.
The State issues their license to steal; gimme a break. how many states are involved in licensing? insurance, medical, civil engineers, etc. and steal? i'll have you know that most attorneys i know work longer hours and harder than most folks in other professions that i know, and they certainly don't get paid what most of you perceive to be the motherlode. those days ended in the early 90s. most attorneys are honest hard working folks. many of which do a lot of pro bono work and enter the profession wanting to champion causes. but i suppose we all steal. hum.
They get to police themselves; "get to???" we're one of the only organizations that DO POLICE THEMSELVES! more organizations should do so. you'd have fewer contractors ripping off homeowners. you'd have fairer representation with fewer conflicts of interest. and beyond that, attorneys can, and do, get sued for malpractice the same that doctors may get sued. we chose to police ourselves to clean up our profession. our "self-policing is IN ADDITION to being held to the same laws as every other business man and women in america.
They get paid before all other claimants. this is no difference than a mechanics lien. you take on a client you expect to get paid for it. should a bankruptcy attorney, who is taking on a client that is PROFESSING to file chapter 11, wait in line to be paid? if so, no bankruptcy attorney would ever practice in that area again and their potential clients would never get the assistance they need to successfully navigate their way through bankruptcy proceedings.

skorp if you feel that way, i am truly sorry for you and some attorney must have taken you to school. in part, i'm a little insulted by what i perceive as a backhanded compliment. i have very thick skin generally speaking, when it comes to pokes at attorneys, but i think this goes above and beyond into poor taste.

not all of us are unethical. not all of us are ambulance chasers (and even some of those are ethical individuals who assist some needy clients who don't know where to start in a complicated legal system). many of us do work for corporations wishing to assist their employees. many of us help the little guy trying to make it in a world of enormous corporations. and this may shock you, but it's the majority of us that err on the side of doing good and working in the best interest of their clients and not the other way around.

I agree Ouchie.

Mulli
Law Offices of Sheister and Swindell.

you misspelled shyster.

and btw, just in case you didn't realize it, that word is a DOUBLE insult to some. again, it doesn't really bother me, but it would do you well to know it's origin.

i believe the word shyster stems from shakespeare's character shylock. he's a money lending jew who wanted to exact a pound of flesh for one of his debts. it's a degrading role to jews. so using it to degrade attorneys really hits home in two areas for me.
