He didn't wear them beause they kept fogging up on him.

Again, it would not have made a difference. He was headed for surgery no matter what. He started having problems before the eye poke and before the Clips game. He told the training staff that he was seeing "floaters" (spots). He was headed for eye surgery goggles or no goggles.

Anyone else kind of excited to see that lineup the article was talking about? Could we drop 160 tonight lol?

Argh!! :bang:

Lou and Duds will have to step up, and I think they can. All is not lost - I think they'll still make the playoffs.

Perfect situation:

This team gets on a roll, ends up the 4 seed, Amare comes back....dominates and they win the championship...

Do I sound crazy lol?

I'd rather have this team try to make up for Amare than have Boris on this team.

Boris is scoring about 12 PPG right now...STARTING. It's not like Boris was giong to come in here and replace Amare's points. Honestly, if this team can't make up at least 12 PPG between all the offensive talent we have....I would be shocked.

Your not going to make up all of his scoring no matter who you have to back Amare up. This team is going to have to replace his production by committee. Boris would have made it easier but let's not get carried away.

I'm not sure why there is so much infatuation with Boris Diaw. He had one good year, his first. And, perhaps because there was nothing expected of him? He was just a throw in for JJ deal. Expectations got high for him and he never lived up to those expectations. He is certainly not someone who can carry a team.

I actually BELIEVE ... where can I get those golden state "we believe" t-shirts. We just need to change the color from yellow to orange.

I still think we can make the playoffs. And when Amare gets back, that will be another Spark !! and we bulldoze right to the western conference game agains the lakers/spurs.

I see a great deal of potential with dudley. But for Lou, I don't think he can do more than he can right now. He doesn't have amare's strength to power to the rim, and his shots .... well ... even my granda has a better stroke than that.

Play more Dud and I think we will be fine.

Where did you get 12 from? He's averaging 14.4 for Charlotte, which is higher than what he averaged with us in 05-06.

(Along with 6.5 rebounds and 5 assists)

In a van...down by the river.
Great. Now we have to hear everyone start up with the "Diaw is a top NBA player" stuff again.
:lmao:LOL,
Any doubts from anyone that's been a long time SUNS fan that this franchise is cursed now?
Actually i don't think that losing Amare will be as bad as some are claiming.
It sucks yeah, but IMO there's one guy in particular who needs to step up offensively to offset Amare....that's Nash,he's got to become more aggressive offensively. The other guy is JRich.
Problem IMO is that we'll miss HOW Amare gets his points. Even if Nash/JRich/Hill step up,Amare's pts in the paint, getting to the foul line and getting people in foul trouble is where the SUNS are gonna feel his loss the most.
Bummer.

His season average is 12. He has went up 2 points since the trade. Boris will come back down once the laziness kicks in again. Point still stands. Boris would have made it easier but it's not like this team can't replace Boris type production with all the talent this team has. If Boris was scoring 18-20 per night I would probably change my mind.

Yes, but you said he was averaging 12 right now starting. That's false. (Also you're ignoring his increased assist and rebounding numbers)

Boris will come back down once the laziness kicks in again.

Sure, keep telling yourself that.

Wow...2 points makes a huge difference. You....keep telling yourself that. By the way I am ignoring nothing. I think this team has enough talent to produce similar numbers. It would be easier I admit wit Boris but doesn't make me wish the trade had never happened because hindsight is 20/20. If Amare never got hurt..the topic is dead.

Sure, keep telling yourself that.

History is on my side. I don't need to tell myself anything.
