Big-money QB Derek Carr looks ineffective. Depth is gone. And New Orleans is projected to be $72 million over the 2024 salary cap. Get used to the Saints as they've looked this season.

Saints have been in cap hell for several years now, and instead of jettisoning players they kicked the can down the road on aging players (Cameron Jordan, Demario Davis, Michael Thomas to name a few) and then added more cap problems with signing Derek Carr to a massive contract that has failed miserably, I’m extremely curious how they will manage to get under the cap next year.
