I'm pumped for the season opener. Wins will not be my focus for the Suns, but rather how the team and younger players develop throughout the season. Below is the projected starting lineups in an article written by Paul Coro at azcentral dated 10-30-13.

Trail Blazers (0-0) at Suns (0-0) … 7 p.m. Phoenix tip

C: Robin Lopez … Miles Plumlee

PF: LaMarcus Aldridge … Channing Frye

SF: Nicolas Batum … P.J. Tucker

SG/G: Wesley Mathews … Goran Dragic

PG/G: Damian Lillard … Eric Bledsoe

Key Blazers injuries: C.J. McCollum (foot surgery) and Earl Watson (calf) are out.

Key Blazers reserves: Mo Williams, Dorell Wright, Thomas Robinson, Meyers Leonard.

Isn't it Polish heritage night?

Lol, I feel bad for all the people that came from Poland to PHX to watch Gortat play :p

Tucker shouldn't be starting, Green should.

Starters need more spacing.

The funny thing is that the Suns don't match up that badly with the Blazers on paper.

I haven't watched more than two or three games last season (can't stand Beasley & Brown in Suns colours), but I am excited for this season to start!

Fast-paced play has always been the identity of this franchise, and I am glad that Horny wants to bring it back. Wins are tertiary this season, in my opinion. I want to watch our young talent and anticipate player development, hope to see the team meshing well and fighting for each other like the 2010 version, and I like to be entertained by some fast break action.

Go Suns!

For international fans: League Pass has a free trial until November 5th.

76ers and Cavs both messing up their tank.

Orlando only smart one so far at 0-2

Hope we don't end up regretting passing on MCW for Len.

I know the Suns had some interest in him at draft time.

We seem to like Syracuse guards cause I remember we had interest in Dion Waiters too.

And the first points this season: a dunk by Miles Plumlee!

Edit: a block on the other end as well! This may well be the most impressive 20 second span by a Suns centre in history!

Nice play by Dragic.

Maybe Bledsoe should have signed that extension.
